You're correct, NSWAS use the EC145's. Though i'm pretty sure there are a few more than 2, something around 4 or 5.

If you have a look at ShaneGreen's scripts and map it's rather helpful. Shane has a lot of units return to fire stations and police stations. Overall, you need a seperate turnto and parking spot for each unit (at least thats what works best) and to copy the ToPoliceStation.script for each spot(s) and modify it as neccessary.

Just replace the old one, and you could create a 'new' unit out of the old model.

Update (04/04/2010): I am working on modelling various lightbars for the different vehicles, so what you see on here now is not what will be on there for the final unit. I'm modelling up a Pod for use with a Pod Transporter (Great acheivement with that, I finally have a functional model i've created ) Personnel is still something that needs to be done, I have 3 people done with the help of eggcarton but i need to touch up the skins. Screenshots! 95% Done, Just need to fix wheels and minor detail. I'm updating this skin, and am working on it still, so this is a little bit outdated Wheels need to be added, and minor detail fixed. Mostly done, Will need to add the search light and look to start on the rappel firefighter/police and winch rescue script.

Out of curiosity, have you looked into asking the West Midlands Fire Service if they have any samples of their sirens/horns? A local service has assisted me with this before, sent me some and also arranged for me to record some for a digital media project.

You're correct in saying that from the LA Mod perspective, in this context, as a QFRS Rescue Vehicle it is a light equipment vehicle. Edit: Could a moderator please close this topic, it's no longer relevant and is now the Sydney Mod.

I don't think they're any better than each other (The firefighters that is) - they each face their own challenges and they met their challenges with high expectations and above. Every firefighter is a godsend to any community. You mentioned: Well, that's in terms of a bush/forest fire, LA and surrounds are situated amongst vast areas of forest thus the extra need for strike team deployments and specialist divisions whereas NY doesn't necessarily have all that surrounding bushland and the have a lot of equipment and vehicles suited to a lot of the residental, commercial and industrial areas they're situated in. As Bart and the others have said, you just can't go comparing them, It's like comparing your mother with your father, or you and your sibling as such.

TacRooster, they're good ideas for further missions. Maybe some of us on here could work on some new missions in a collaborative effort. The gas 'explosion' sounds like a neat idea, with the streat race, I remember there being a mission like that in either Em4 or Em3 (I think it's em3), so it's a good idea too.

Complaint: Being awoken at 3am by the Police due to some *@&!^)* idiot making a false call to 000 saying my house was on fire. A few minutes later Ambo's, and 3 Fire Trucks (2 Pumps, Rescue) arrive. Honestly, I find this guy i am going to castrate them. Though the police will take action as so i was told.

zman, you know it's great you can make car accidents, but I'm sure posting it once is enough for us to know... The focus for the LA mod at the moment is a little withdrawn from what i understand, With Hoppah looking at other projects and what not, but I'm sure he has plans in store for future development

Part reason for vehicles running 'up the back' of the tiller trailer is that the tiller trailer has no physics.

Update (31/03/2010): I've been working hard, and with the help of some great others, I've made some decent progress on the mod. At current, the Models and Skins are done for the following: - NSWFB FireAir 1 - NSWAS Extended Care Paramedic (Vehicle) - NSWRTA Traffic Emergency Patrol - NSW Police - General Duties: Caged Truck (VW, RX16) - NSWFB Duty Commander (Need to edit the model). Lights, and Wheels still need to be finalised for these vehicles. They're in the game, but not very functional right now. I will post some screenshots soon I hope to start some personnel by next week, and possibly looking at creating a single mission. Happy Easter
