  1. Can you post the contents of your LASiren.script file please along with your logfile.txt file.
  2. Are you trying to install the .exe via the mod installer? If so, you cannot. You need to run the .exe as it installs the mod for you. Just double click on that, and go through the relevant options. Once done, run your game, and load the mod.
  3. Alright, Here's one most of you probably haven't seen. I'm after the Country, and Emergency Service it belongs to. If you can provide further information about it (i.e Station and Appliance/Apparatus (as you northern hemispherians call them) type (should be obvious too ), then kudos to you!

  11. Last Update: 28/03/2010 The Sydney Mod takes hold of what was the base of the existing Australia Mod. As the title of the topic and mod implies, the mod is based on the 4 Major Services in Sydney, Australia which fit inline with the 4 categories ingame. Sydney is a diverse, complex, and integrated city and one that i happen to reside in. It's a great choice for a Mod because a lot of the Services and Units in the Sydney area (and NSW) are rather unique and not replicated elsewhere throughout the world. So I'm hoping, along with help from others to really build on that idea and make the mod something special!   12. Thanks Where it stands currently, I haven't done any additional scripting or editing to give the units a place on the map to return to. I may decide once i have the main bulk and objectives out of the way to edit the map and relevant scripts to allow this. Hope this answers your question.
  13. I don't mean to sound impatient, does anyone know at all? I'm rather becoming both annoyed with myself and the lack of answers i can find. I just need to know how to add in a new peice of equipment, I modified some scripts and cloned one (GetAxe.txt -> GetTNT.txt) but i'm getting script errors Thanks
  14. as randomperson139 said, I posted it in the wrong forum It doesn't include a readme file, but gives you is the skin and v3o file. So any scripting or anything like that I'd be happy to do myself. As i said, I've got the prototype done it's just a matter of how one would go about adding equipment (any equipment) into the game - e.g what files need to be edited. But I'll try messaging Tim and see if he is able to give me a hand, I'll post an overview of how it's done if he can tell me for reference.

  16. Hey, I love the TNT/Halligan tool that was created by the NY Mod team, and I've been working towards trying to get it into the game. I have all the editor stuff done, such as skin files and physics but i'm a little stuck on how it actually goes into the game (Im at the part where *i think* you add it to the files). To get to the point, what files/scripts/etc need to be edited as to do this?, I know it's a rather nooby style question, but i just can't work it out logically in my head Thanks In the editor (This is what i have in the editor so far, I have the prototype made and the necessary info set for them:P )

  19. Thanks, Is there any chance you may be able to send me the Zmodeler files to edit? I don't have the registered version of Zmodeler as so i can't import any V3O's (Which once i starting getting further into modelling, i will purchase) I know you mentioned i had permission once before, but i thought i should check again, is it fine for me to release any changes in my submod?

  21. You go into editor, load the mod, then go to tools > unpack file - browse to the file, select and ok. Then try with the DDS. I'd laugh if this was the problem after all, just takes some simple thinking sometimes

Hey Guys, I'm Just breaking the surface of modelling and only getting into it, so forgive me I was wondering if anyone has spare parts of models, spare cars, etc that they'd be willing to share, and through this we can build up a database for modders. If you don't want to share publically, I would appreciate them personally to learn. I thought if we created a public download resource then people learning can learn off and integrate these models. I've been searching around for info (blueprints) for a Scania P380 to model (I found a model on Sketchup, but it's a pain to convert for the game) one of my Local Fire Brigade units, but haven't had any luck.
