Well you could try lowering the setting and then the resolution. It possible that might work. I never brother once I released it was trying to use the wrong video card

i know my second series of crash to desktop on freeplay mod was solved when i forced em4 to run on gtx970m instead of intelHD. So i am thinking your right.

As a European I can't get my head around how the US has all the different laws and regulations in the different states. It just seems confusing to me. In the Netherlands, all PD, FD and EMS vehicles have an AED on board and all our ambulances are manned by a driver and a nurse (Paramedic) who can perform most medical procedures. Which just seems to make it all a lot easier.

Well here some facts that might make it make more sense. The United states is 237.28 times bigger then Netherlands. With 18 times the population.

Now lets compare the Netherlands to some states.

First up

Netherlands Size 41,543 km2 PA 119,283 km2 So PA is bigger then Netherlands. Number of people in Netherlands 16,856,620 Number of People in PA 12,787,209

Netherlands vs ohio. Ohio is bigger at 116,096 and again slight less population 11,570,808

Netherlands vs New York. New york is bigger at 141,300 and has a higher population at 19,746,227

So basically are there state that then bigger then Netherlands. A lot are. Going to bigger in size. Population wise will be different.

Maybe try and compare the EU and if different rules and regular for EMS to United states. That a lot closer then trying to compare a country that smaller then most states to the entire United States of America.

The bottom line the reason the states regulated Emergency services is because even the make up of the state are different. With different amount of population in urban and rual areas. In fact because of that fact. the counties even have some say in how things run.

I have a nVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 2GB graphics card and the driver was just updated this week. My system does have above the min specs for the game (8 GB RAM and a intel core i7 processor). I've had this issue with the manhattan mod, but never really thought anything of it.

Make sure nvidia control panel uses the 650m video card and not the lower wend Intel one. I had that issues.

Try re-installing the mod and re-downloading if that doesn't work. So far you're the only one reporting a CTD. Also make sure you're not replacing files in the old Montana Mod folder, this mod needs to have its own separate folder in the directory.

Will take care of that traffic issue and missing doors/lights in a patch.

The PD impala etc. are not supposed to be in the mod, as was stated. If you guys see any leftover units marked as Chester County, they shouldn't be there. Will make sure to delete those.

I'll be the second one reporting! I got a CTD after loading freeplay as well. I will try reinstalling the mod, and I didn't replace files in the old Montana Mod folder. Thanks for the release and happy holidays!

I also have the CTD on loading issue, but it's likely to be my system. An integrated intel HD pretty weak GPU so I don't have enough memory for big mods like Manhattan and this one. If you want, I'll stick the log file here shortly. Fantastic work though, guys

Make sure em4 is set to run as administrator. I was getting that issue found it was not. Once I set it it stop crashing on loading. In my log file the last entry was the park Ranger truck used for limited water dumy.

not realy this is not none mod version that came out last year.

That depends on if Sixteen ton release a good handbook or not.

We don't know. Maybe one day, someones gonna do it. Could be Hoppah, me, or even some random guy who suddenly bursts onto the scene, who knows.

Considering that em5 those this by default. If sixteenton ever gets there act together and enables modding and fixes the performance issues. This would not be required.

Fixing bugs isn't that easy as you might think it is. They are currently fixing the bugs, but it takes some time.

Yes well had they brother to do any quality control on game before release it would not take as long to fix, because then there would not have been as many bugs.

It does need some work, but don't give it all the doubt. they've improved and its a continuous improvement

Maybe they improve the game for you but each patch has made my gaming experience worse.

Well that a mega download issue. I ended up making an account and importing mods the downloading never get issues when I do that.

Try the multi-player verison of 1.3 I was getting a crash to desktop on first 1.3 released the single player version but multi-player verison no problems you just need to call all the units in

There is no Windows 9 they skipped 9 and ate going straight to 10.

I click on campain and after That I load my saved game. the game start where I was. So That works fine. Don't know what to do now

I have done the tutorial and done several missions in campain...

So when you go into campaign those it say continue. I ask because I was login in and then that stop working and I lost the progress I had made.

I figured out how to restore it and later I was able to login but for a while I had no free play or multi-player option

I have Emergency 5 Deluxe Edition from Steam. I can only play Campain. Free Play, Multiplayer and Large Scale are disabled. How can i play Free Play?

I believe you have to do the tutorial first. Once that done and saved you can play other modes but maybe limited in what you can pull out

I cannot find the spec requirements for the mod, but chances are they arent that insane. With any mod that includes custom content unless you go off the hook with sending in tons of vehicles it should run fine on it. If you can get away with upgrading the ram to 8GB that wouldnt hurt though.

Lcpdfr is a script for playing as police officer. As such it will not be that demanding on it self

For gta I will just be doing lcpdfr

What will need additional resource is els, certain car mods, and other modification.

Plain stock gta4 with lcpdfr sure be more problem on Windows Vista or newer pc. Xp support has been dropped, expect on older versions of lcpdfr but these versions are no longer support them self.

I can not tell you what the game was called at release in UK. But English version released in us is called 911 first responders and that the same game as emergency 4 released in Germany expect it in English not German.

Units start moving real slowly after a little game play. Say after you do a campaign mission and move to freeplay style. I am finally able to log back in. But I got say. This game is looking sorry and sorry.

Hopefully they can add these functions later, or even have an expansion pack (DLC) with new cities, missions and units?

that better add a bunch more feature before even think of DLC.  The game is rather pathic the way it is currently.
