One more day left in February and no updates. Meanwhile they're discounting the game on Steam (50% off), which seems to me like they're cashing it and jumping out. Shame, really.

Well many of there other patch where released on saturdays. So it possible it be out tomrrow. But I am not holding my breath. And I doubt it fix all the issues. I know I had issues logging into my account with the game client. Luckly I discovered where the save files are where able to move the local copy.

HE likely told the laptop to run the game in nvidia card vs the intel card. As you suggestioned. I know for a fact the game defaults to intel.

It still over priced.  For buggy unfinished game.   And they yet to release the DLC that was supose to add modding which was suppose to be out middle of feb.  

Exactly. Emergency 5 was announced two years ago. Two years ago. Claiming to be be better then emergency 4 with modding. Then they release emergency 2012, 2013 then emergency 2014. Push back the release of emergency 5. Then push it back again and released an unfinished untest game. release a patch and last month said they release a DLC in Feb. Well News flash. There only 4 days in Feb. Then the magical fix it DLC will either be late. But I highly doubt it be any better polished then this game.

Maybe instead telling us how great it going to be. FIX it release and let US decide if any good.

Every EMERGENCY modder cried for more modding possibilities, now we have them. You can't deliver this possibilities without increasing the complexity of the whole modding system. If you are not able to handle the modding system and the editor right now, you'll have to wait until someone appears who can control it. That's all......

A good editor can be complex but easy to use.   But from what I seen of EM5 editor so far.  It not easy to use.  And this is from a person that job is doing software.  Who has a degree in Computers.  Now maybe this mythical DLC will fix this.  But I doubt.  For starts we told it was coming in feb.   However there only 7 more days left in Feb.   Since we heard no more details of mythical Feb DLC I am going to guess it not coming in feb or it be a half finish crap like the game was when it was released.  After all that . Sixteen Tons Entertainment.

 

Based on your comments.  It no wonder the game was horrible unfinished game.   IT pretty clear the developers have no clue.   Because the community guy has no clue.  I strongly suggest Sixteen Tons Entertainment Look at making the editor easyer to use.  Because a powerful, unsable editor is a worthless editor.   Since they made the editor there should be no probelm making two interface for it.  And Easy and hard.   Easy limit ability.    Hard wide open.

 

Modders will not take months to learn how to use an editor.   They made mods in there free time. 

 

As for the sorry excuse that mods want it.

 

What about all the customer that wanted Limit water, fire fighters that hooked up to hydrants. etc.

 

 

No the real answer is it takes time and money to make an easy to use editor and Sixteen Tons Entertainment has no plans on doing that.   Emergency 5 was simply a money grab.   And unless there a major changes.  I will never buy another Sixteen Tons Entertainment game.  Further more.  I will tell everyone I now not to buy the crap game Emergency 5. And this coming from some one that has bought two copies of each of the early version.  First the German version.  That I would get when I visit family or had family in germany send me.  Then buying the American version when it was released years ago.   But Sixteen Tons Entertainment is quickly getting added to EA Games boycott.   They earn that boycott by release a unfinished buggy game and not support it as well.  Call Sim City.  

Maybe firetrucks are an exception because there wouldnt be such thing as a fake firetruck, especially a tiller ladder. So they made an exception for that vehicle. The engine responding with it appears to have 2 red lights on the lightbar.

HAve you tried going into the nvidia control panel and adding em5 and forcing to only use the nvidia video card? I report a similar bug where this poorly made, untest alpha was released would use the intel video card over Perhaps this is similar issue.

Two patrol cars and a Park Ranger is too much police presence?  That seems about average for a town of this size.

two patrol cars, a third one park at the station, a ranger, a state trooper and sheriffs car. Yes that way to much. I acculty live near a small two. The area i live is patrol by the state troopers. Said small town. Has a grand total of three police cars. 90% of the time only one patrol car is on duty with one officer. Exceptions are during events. The most active police units i see in said small town. (No red lights) Is during the annual fire parade.

additional the county i live in is 90% farm land. The only place with more then two office on duty at time ( I listen to scanner can tell when they are) Is the county seat, the very populated area next to county seat. And the two larger population in south where all the rich people live from the big city in the county south of us. The rest of the township and borough. Have one two two units on duty at time. If they have any. Since a lot are patrol by the state troopers barrack in county.

When you see the on duty car, the parade unit, one state police car and one sheriff car.

Which is why i normal send the state trooper at the hospital the sheriff car off map. Which is why it no big deal. I just figure I point out that the police presence seem way higher then you find in small town with four fire fighting vehicles but no tanker.

Example the one township... has 23.2 sq mi with 5,390 they have normal only two cars on duty. and the main reason they have a police force is the four land road that travels the length of there township from the big city in south the county seat.

Said Borough is 0.9 sq mi and has a population 1,525

i am likening the mod so far. one thing i been doing is sending most of the cops off map. seems to me there just way to much police presence for small town america.

Intel friendly as it those not crash not Intel friendly I can run max setting with a Intel video card.

it very likely that your issue. This mod those not run on intelHD. At least on my laptop which has both an IntelHD and GTX970m it only runs if i ensure the game is running on GTX70m.

When I tried to play the mod, it crashed once it was finished loading.

In Europe and Germany paramedics can treat injured persons too. Only in difficult cases or when medication is need you'll have to dispatch the doctor. All features that are "unrealistic" in your opinion were decisions in order to match the game design with the needs of casual players. There are a lot of discussions about this and even the German players are afraid of this...

This game is disgraces. The editor is still not finished. the game was release as buggy unfinished beta at best. I thought sixton was a better developer but so far it seems there no better then EA.

An how ever heard of fire fighter running away form fire truck. hook up to hydrant then running back towards to truck to fight a fire? Where in world those anyone hook to hydrant to fight a fire. But i guss that again is for casual players.

there is a light mod but you have to edit game files a true mod that requires no editing game mods. Not before the update in Feb that maybe finish the mod editor tools so that you can create mod. but I am guess even longer then that. Judging form the sorry state of the game on release. I be suprise if we not waiting another 3 months before the final getting the editor tools working correctly. Then people have to learn the new tools. So i be suprised to see an em5 mod before middle of this year.

But at this point it to soon to tell.

Well first it has arrive. Which to date it has not. Just more promises like ever other crap game developer out there. At this point there coming close to giving each games a run for there money on worse launch. And there English tech support. Is pretty much worthless.

I wait and see what they delivery. But what they done so far is crap for the amount they charger and the time they had. The mod stuff should all been released. That was the main thing they promised that should been there on delievery. It would been on thing had they not push the release back two times. Or had not release to crappy add to 2012 in the time they said they whermaking emergency 5. This update better blow the socks off if they want any hope of making people happy with there product. Right know EM5 rates a -5 on scale of 1 to 10.

Hey guys, i have a Lenovo Y510P with an Intel i7 haswell, and a Geforce GT750M graphic card.

My problem is that EM 5 is very heavy, on the lowest graphic settings (it's not better when i set it on medium or high).

Any idea have to improve the games stability?

I can play BF4 wwith medium graphics and it works smooth, but not EM5...

Go in nvidia control pannels and add em5 and face to uses the gt750m

Just had a problem in multiplayer. One of the guys in the server would deploy units and each time he did so they would migrate to the host's control. Started with the medics. He called for two to grab a stretcher, and when they came out of the ambulance they became controlled by the host. Next the engineer for his Engine 4 went to host control when he turned the pump on. After that he told a bunch of guys to get the HAZMAT gear on, and they all went to host control. All units were from the South District. We did start with 4 players, but one crashed two minutes after starting.

Is this caused by the crash of our 4th guy? I've played this online with just myself and another guy before now.

Yes. Once some one crashing units will get messed up.

Can I edit the police to patrol or does that mess up the game play?

Might want try the go to district command. It pack the patrols at different spots on map and those not give you traffic issue like patrol can.
