  1. I'm guessing free play, without scripting a new event you need to just add the hostage taker to a building and name him hostages and add a few civils in there too. I think that's right or name him house_person and the house named hostages one of the two been a while since I've added one. You can't really edit anthing other than that really.

  4. Copy the map out, reinstall the mod and copy the map back in, simple you'll be replacing your map with the patch soon anyway unless you don't want a new firehouse and map bug fixes that come with the patch
  5. Yeah some things like that just didn't come up in testing, they've already been addressed in the patch were just making sure all bugs are fixed before releasing a patch we only want to have to release one patch rather than several. Thanks for your patience

  7. We included a new pistol model in our Manhattan/Brooklyn mods, if that's what you're after.
  8. A simple fix is to replace them all with silent sirens, I've done that before when experiencing issues.

  10. A 6b ram is not required the mod was made on a 4gb ram system and tested across the board. The lights will be toned down in the coming patch to ease lag but our LoD on map is what gives the mod atmosphere, small details that submerge the player in a simulation rather than an arcade game.

I may remove the truck one in the patch because it is common, it's down to game though, unfortunately em4 isn't too good at keeping it interesting and different I had the same mva each time in LA when I first got it too. Anyway I'm really taking my time with the patch hoping to address all issues as well as add new features too any more realistic suggestions welcome. There will still be no redirect before anyone suggests it

It was never included because it would never work with one way streets or multiple lanes, em4s traffic engine is so basic that the cars constantly need a clearly labelled path to follow so simply turning them around would send cars all over the avenues or streets looking for an opposite side of the road where there isn't one

  14. Alright guys we've taken on all of your comments an helped shape the future of the mod, I spent allay working today and raf spent all day last night both working on the next patch update. You can expect it sometime next week. Hearing even minor issues is upsetting so well do everything we can to resolve them all, even improve the game. Thanks for the feedback Dyson
  15. Yes, most mods are low quality and therefore will run fine. This mod is very CPU taxing, we've completely reworked the mods to run on intel and the update will run on your pc. And yes many computers have intel cards, that doesn't make them good, they're cheap and not up to the task of gaming, my latest pc has an intel graphics card, I knew this when I bought it, however my gaming pc uses AMD graphics which are more up to the task. Just because they're common doesn't mean they're good Anyway not to worry the update will run smooth
  16. It doesn't matter how new your computer is if you run a bad graphics card it lets the entire system down. The previous mods are not Intel friendly but BoF and the Upper East Manhattan coming soon work on Intel.
  17. I'll check this out, every issue will be looked at to see if we can fix then the patch update will be released. Thanks for the feedback glad to hear the mod is mainly stable.
  18. In response to all the comments the bugs are known and we will bring out a patch to resolve them. As there aren't any game stoppin bugs were still happy, we also ask that you please only post bugs in our bug forum as then people can see what bugs have been reported instead of hearing the same ones over and over. Anyway the patch will be up sometime soon and address most of the little bugs, but thanks for continued playing.

Overall positive feedback were really happy, couple of bugs that we thought were fixed have proven pesky, apologies for this I'll have a quick fix posted within the hour, we'll also use feedback to shape the patch update which will come some time later. But overall you guys seem happy and I know you guys have high standards so this means a lot.
