  1. Each version is progressively more stable, this is a different borough to Manhattan but yeah it's more stable. For everyone else - Hi guys, 2014 has been a great year for us, Manhattan Mod v3 released, BoF Brooklyn mid released and Upper East well under way. It's that time of the year again when all the best mods get ranked officially on mod db and the mod o the year award runs. We will be submitting an entry this year and hope to have your guys' support. While we don't expect to win it hitting the top ten would be a first for any em4 mod and huge publicity for the game and our project. Therefore we're posting a link to vote for us and updating our mod db page to reflect current work. We hope you'll find the time to vote for us if you feel we were one of the mods of the year!   4. We had this set up for v1 it was just for the multiplayer group for increased realism
  5. I had the same issue but made the object a house and it worked try that
  6. Yep I wrote a couple of scripts to allow this I'll get a vid up soon to show it
  7. Yep it's been mentioned time after time an as I said it's been fixed for the patch.

  9. Credit - itchboy/BoF Team A look at the new/revised units in the update. All the old rigs have also been redone but only minor tweaks. Next up working on the new ESU truck and a few others. More to come!

Yeah pretty much, it's supposed to make the game realistic with some DoA's, but the game counts a DoA as a fail, when in reality there's nothing you can do other than get the rest of those guys out. Anyway the PD fleet is undergoing a huge makeover, we'll be showing some sneak peaks really soon!
  11. This is the extreme though, one of the most heavily densely populated places on the planet. But which is why there's such an extreme amount of firehouses especially in Manhattan, the average response time in 2013 was still 4 minutes. But just like in our mods, it's all about traffic management, the better the traffic flows the quicker units can get across the city
  12. There's 3 different patrol paths for the 3 areas the area near the precinct is small so is a tiny loop

  16. Brooklyn & Manhattan Modifications are looking for new team members. We've always had a very small tightly knit team so this will be the first time we're openly taking people on board. To apply you must have some 3D background experience, especially experience in either this game or similar games (such as GTA). However if you're someone who already has some portfolio and experience (e.g. your own successful mod or part of an other team) but no 3D knowledge this will still acceptable. Any additional skills would also be useful. We're rebuilding a team for future projects, so this will be a big commitment but highly rewarding work.   17. You can access roofs of a couple of buildings, and most of the fire escapes, but actually venting he roof was only ever aesthetics, the game simply wont function with it sorry. It's something we've spent hours on for each version but still been un able to properly achieve.
  18. Looks really good, I'd change some of the FBI units to suburbans for sure, but besides that very interesting. I'd like to see an accurate map more than anything, new buildings and everything, that would be groundbreaking, but best of luck!
  19. Yeah exactly like Mikey just said, all mods do this, however ours is a big overhaul so it takes a while to load, go make some coffee or whatever while it loads and then come back...
  20. They were removed due to the script not working fluidly with the animations, I'll take another look for the patch. I've got a little bit of free time now, so hoping to finalise a patch, there's a few new goodies and a LOT of gameplay improvements, but I want to have this patch flawless so it will be extensively tested which takes time.
  21. That's one of a few scripts that were written but for whatever reason didn't come off properly they'll be looked at in the patch, we aim to make all support vehicles functional. But yeah once it's properly set up it will replenish health yeah
  22. Yeah this is fixed in the patch normal firefighters can no longer do it, there was a loop hole in the script that allowed you to do it
  23. My apologies I have no idea why it will in the patch anyway
  24. Yeah those guys aren't supposed to be able to enter without the stretcher or it messes up some of our scripts, just equip them with a stretcher and get in. You can always drop the stretcher if it's annoying and pick it back up when getting in again. As for the Rescue it should have speed controls, there's a few off map units we forgot to add them to but it's definitely on the rescue.
