  1. Oh nice! I didn't know if you were joking or not haha. @Dyson, nice job with those trucks. I like the food truck, very common around the city...
  2. Oh my... My cousin works for Garda but that's the closest I've got to one haha.
  3. ^ Yeah I agree. We use an old F150 pickup with the cover on the bed. An armored truck isn't a bad idea though, we don't have any of those...
  4. It's not that rural by me, so I've never seen anything like that haha. Sounds like an interesting event though, and if it's common in rural areas, why not add it?
  5. Awesome! Glad to see some more progress. And I found the fine print lol, hopefully the game will be able to handle this masterpiece.
  6. Yeah, my friend hit a deer and totaled his ATV. They're more common than you would think haha.
  7. Nice man! Are you just doing the box or do you have a chassis in mind, too?
  8. Yes, the Mahattan Mod did. If there's a building fire, chances are it won't spread to the building next to it. Usually the one building will burn out and it won't spread at all. And I agree that especially in LA Mod, the fire spread is kinda unrealistic. A house fire would start in the SE corner of the map by all the trees, and within a couple minutes, I have a whole block on fire with one or trucks on the scene. And then by the time I call another truck, half the fire is burnt out. Long-story-short, the fires spread to fast and don't last long enough.
  9. Oh yeah, a garbage truck definitely. As far as I know, there are no American ones out right now... Here's a New York one: http://www.fleetsandfuels.com/wp-content/uploads/MackHRBforNYC-1111.jpg Or ones like these are pretty common: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_9NKkH_gs3w/UCVt9WrgJyI/AAAAAAAACp8/NrnEGlDOMmw/s1600/photo-759757.JPG
  10. Oh you're from Indiana, too? I recognize that photo from IndianaFireTrucks.com lol. Anyway, nice work on the trucks, itchboy. What about replacing the last two with maybe a reefer (freezer) truck like this to give some variety to the box trucks? http://www.publiquip.com/photo/1733443707.jpg Or another option could be a NIPSCO truck like this, but this looks kinda hard to model... http://am1050.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/power-outage_4.jpg
  11. I laughed a little bit when I read lines 3 and 11. But if you need a voice actor, I'm from Indiana as well so I could help you out if you need me to.
  12. Those are just awesome! That dumptruck will be making a nice snowplow in the future.
  13. I would hope that model converting would be easy, as it would save modders so much time. They can just swap the models between games, but I'm sure there's gonna be an easy way to do it. And didn't they mention something about the cutscenes? I thought it said that they were going to be easier to work with or something...
  14. I agree. The thing that really got me is how easily we can work in the editor. I mean, spray-able textures? Two clicks to make a street and sidewalks? I'm excited to try this out!
  15. It's a cover of a song, I think this counts...
  16. I will definitely be using that! Nice work as always.
  17. Yeah, that International came out great! Really nice work.
  18. SAIL, Cold, and The Red are some great songs! Rise Against isn't bad either.
  19. Hey, I'm impressed! Being a drummer in a band that plays some music similar to this, I like your style! I had to check out your cover of Mayday Parade's "I'd Hate To Be You When You Find Out What This Song Is About." That's one of my favorite songs by them, and my guitarist and I play that one all the time lol. And yes, some wise words of advise you give...playing and time is SO important as a musician in general. I've been a drummer for 9 years, and it's very easy for me to watch bands, even some really good ones, and pick out some players that can't play in time! It makes me cringe...watching drummers in bands with great guitarists, but the band sucks because the drummer can't play in time. I can't stress how important it is to play in time, because I've played with people that just flat out can't keep time, and it pulls the whole song apart. Like I always say, you can have the greatest drum solo or the sexiest guitar riff ever, but if you can't play in time, then all of that means nothing. Here's a vid of my band, but this is before we got our guitarist. I actually played with him at this gig, and that's how he kinda got in our band.
  20. ^ @Darryl, I like those guys, too, haha. My friend showed me these guys today...pretty interesting style...similar to HRVRD, Circa Survive, etc.
  21. I like the International a lot. And yeah, a skin for that shouldn't take long, especially for the rear like Mikey said. If you need some help though, I can whip one up real fast for ya.
  22. Just epic. The animations for the decon unit and MCU are pretty cool, and I like how when the trucks go back to the station, the back doors open. That's something different, and I'm interested to see the full unit list. It seems like there's a lot more fire and EMS units compared to the Manhattan Mod...
