  1. The LA missions are listed after the original missions.
  2. This would work but only for the left lane of traffic. If you used this method to close the right lane the redirected cars would have to turn across a lane of traffic.
  3. I think that's a bug. Report it in the bug topic.
  4. Yeah, the town next to me has a traffic light control system on almost all of their stoplights. Their system works on the sound of the siren, so any emergency vehicle can use it from any department.
  5. That's too bad. This project looked promising.
  6. Very nice. Hoppah should use this in the LA mod.
  7. Does the game only lag when you select a unit?
  8. Yeah, the scale seems to be a little off.
  9. Great. So are you going to skin it in LACoFD livery?
  10. Did you design the KME engine off of the LACoFD KME engines?
  11. Many of the vehicles you propose are already in the mod or they don't exist in real life. For example the LAAP car is already in the mod, there is no LAX foam tender IRL, that LAPD SWAT vehicle is fake (the side says LASD but it has the LA City seal on the door, go figure), the LASD uses Lenco Bearcats, and the LAFD KME water tender would have no functionality. Some of the vehicles would be a good addition to the mod such as the LACoFD engine (you do realize that LA County engine 208 runs with truck 8 as part of a light force, engine 8 would probably be better), LAFD engine 51 (which uses a Seagrave Marauder II, not a Pierce FYI)
  12. Top of the line is the 5970, but the 5970 is beat by two GTX 480s. Best single GPU card is the GTX 480.
  13. The KME engines haven't been delivered yet, but Hoppah has said that if MikesPhotos makes a walkaroud of them he might put one in the mod.
  14. We'll have to wait first and see if Hoppah adds a LAFD KME engine. A LACoFD submod should include an engine if nothing else. No KME engine = no LACoFD submod.
  15. Those are all LACoFD units. Hoppah wants to focus more on LAFD units. There might be a LACoFD submod down the road. LAFD is getting new KME engines and Hoppah might put them in the mod. If he does add LAFD KME engines someone could reskin the engine into LACoFD colors. The USNG Blackhawk could be reskinned into LACoFD colors as well. There already is a LACoFD squad in the game and it could be copied and changed slightly into a USAR tender or a swift water rescue unit.
  16. Looks good. Just one suggestion. Buy a 4GB (2x2GB) RAM kit instead of two additional GB.
  17. A Bell 412 would make more sense than a AW139.
  18. Hoppah, any chance that the color of the LAFD HAZMAT suits will be updated? They seem to use tan colored suits (looks almost identical to the USAR jumpsuits) instead of white. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lafd/4537937961/in/set-72157623772692735/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/lafd/4483789032/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/lafd/3351093402/
  19. Make sure it isn't set to read only.
  20. Exactly. A light force carries all the equipment save for the stretcher. A light force/task force and an RA has all the equipment and you have 12 guys also. That's pretty much all you need to handle 95% of the calls.
  21. No, you just have to leave it behind the fire station somewhere out of the way. I find the best way to avoid problems with the trailer is to just not use it.
  22. Virtually every fire department in the US handles extrications at MVAs. I have heard of regional HAZMAT squads in rural areas though. In LA county you have the LAFD, LACoFD, Long Beach FD, Glendale FD, Pasadena FD, Burbank FD, Carson FD, and a crapload of others. All of those departments would handle extrications. They might request a heavy rescue from the LAFD or LACoFD if the wreck is bad.
