Just a little update; - The Volvo FL with red lockers are now much more red, as before they were pink-ish - We have re-added the Volvo FL with silver/grey lockers. - And thanks to Hoppah's amazing skills we have also included a new script that will increase the 'realism' of the game, which will be kept secret but you will find out when you play it when we come round to releasing it. (Again, does anyone know how to do personnel icons & get the LAPDDog script to work?)

Yeah we don't post much on here, most of it is on here; https://www.emergency-planet.com/WestMidlandsMod (Because its quicker and easier for us and also we can continuously update you without being warned for double posting ) But heres some of the latest stuff: Specialist Firearms Officer (SFO) & Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO) Officers with Stab Vests (Can switch between Stab Vest and Fluoro Jacket) Stryker Stretcher script, weve added a Zoll E Series Monitor/Defibrillator and WMAS Responder Bag ontop of the stretcher Stryker Stretcher with patient has the Zoll ontop of his legs
  4. I know on the multiplayer map ive seen people get hit by trains quite a lot, i think its just the AI being stupid like a fair few people in modern society by trying to cross when the barriers are down, so i think its just a path bug more than an event which never got added.
  5. Go into the mod folder then Audio -> FX -> sirens -> Replace emsiren01 to emsiren04 with a blank sound file
  6. Why not just pop down to your local unit? (Chances are that application will just send a letter saying thanks for being interested but to find out more call *insert random number here* that for some reason always gets taken to answer machine cause all call handlers are always doing something much more important than there job, so youll probably end up just having to go to a local place anyway)
  7. I noticed the site is generally slower than what it used to be, sometimes it dosen't even load at all (Which can be quite annoying)

  10. All you need to do is move the connectors then (Click on the prototype in the editor -> click edit -> childs -> move the connector childs around (they should be listed under superstructures)

  12. How do you do them! I could do the vehicle ones as there was the icon-generator program that did it, but it dosent do personnel ones (Apart from the 'big' image). Ive tried doing them in photoshop but all i get are white, blank icons. Help anyone? PS: Does anyone know how to set up the LAPDDog script with another vehicle/person, as I cant see anything in the script. Thanks in Advance
  13. Yeah, a release will take not much longer hopefully. We relied on people who knew what they were doing but then became inactive, so ive had to learn a million and one things to get it upto a playable standard. (Quick question for anyone; How do you do personnel icons. I managed to do vehicles because there is a program for it, but not for persons. And also how do you set up the K9 script for a vehicle. Thanks) Some specific updates: -Armed Officers have access to a side arm, MP5, and a taser. They are in full armoured gear. -All medical personnel can switch between fluoro jacket and shirt (Arrive in shirt by default) (Except BASICS Medics) -All medical personnel can get a WMAS Responder Bag -Stryker Stretcher script (I know WMAS use Ferno stretchers but this is the only way i can get units to use a stretcher) -Development for v1.2 has started while I finish up the mod (Theres probably loads more things but so much has been done in the last few days i cant remember)

  16. I now have a severe headache from reading that. (Can you put some punctuation in please?) All looking very nice, just a Quick question, how will units like the CFR's be dispatched to the scene, will it be like winterberg where you have a control panel or will they be like LA mod (or something similar) and you just select for where you want them to go then you can just send them back to their home afterwards?
  17. Add the patrol command to the helicopter and see what happens (it should follow the closest patrol route) but im thinking something will need changing in the script or the patrol path modified somehow cause the helicopter will probably follow it at ground level
  18. Yeah that fixed it, thanks very much (Where did you find out that from?) Edit: Just looked at it: Now i know what i was looking for i suppose this was the line that determined that an axe was needed in the vehicle if (!Game::ExistsNormalObjectWithFlagSet(OF_HAS_FIREAXE))
  19. From my very limited knowledge, I believe the closest way to make a helicopter circle an area is to use a patrol path. However, im sure someone with more experience than me will give you a closer answer.

You need to name each connector, name one connector0, another connector1, next connector2 and finally connector3 In traits, ensure the vehicle is a FIREFIGHTERS_GTF You'll need to copy the attachfirehose script from the LA Mod Rename this line: const char PROTO_ENGINE01[] = "mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/02 LA Fire Department/fire_engine.e4p"; TO const char PROTO_ENGINE01[] = "mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/DIRECTORY/PROTOTYPE.e4p"; (Directory and prototype name of your vehicle) Save that Then ensure your firefighters have the command "AttachFireHose" Try it out ingame (Should work)
