Just went to check it out, it is for EM5. Sweet!!!
Norm,

Looking good so far.

Download this file and follow the instructions, and this should take care of the problem. http://forum.emergency-planet.com/files/file/575-911-first-responders-registry-fix/.

Update time, things are going along pretty slow. Plenty of things going on.
Lending a hand on the Ocean City, Maryland mod. One thing I want to do in
this mod is for PD to deliver the prisoner to station and then go to a designated
spot on the map. I also want all the vehicles to already be on the map, as it was
with the Shane Green mod. I think if I had the script, I can do the VO's per the
script.
Norm,

Just rename the la mod 2.1 to la mod 2.0
That might not work, you may have to edit the info file.

What version should I add this mod to? Can't wait to play.
Norm,
-
Ok, just wanted to know if you wanted to use it.
Norm,

I have the Maryland State Trooper Caprice already if you would to use it. The only thing that needs to be done are the lights.
Norm,

Code 3 lightbars to be released soon.
Heres' the RX2700
LA units seem to wear the lightbars well.
Can anyone please identify the REAR lightbar of the LA Ambulances?
Baltimore County Police Dept. use the same lightbar (red/blue).
Don't want to beg but can you do a red/blue?

Love how each door can be controlled separately.

Hows everything going?
Things have slowed a bit still working on reskins and adding a few more vehicles. Still having problems with the vehicle menu
icons, been told I lost the Alpha Channel (listed above). Still need lighting when done. Would like to have Police drop off arrestee
at station and then proceed to a designated spot on map. looking a script from North Creek I think. Right now going it alone, with
very little experience.
Vehicle Progress
Baltimore City Police: 75%
Baltimore County Police: 50%
Baltimore City Sheriff: 0%
Maryland Transportation Authority Police:0%

Baltimore County Fire Department: 0%
Homeland Security: 100%
Baltimore Department of Public Works: 100%

Excellent thread. I been wanting to use those numbers on the menu to set up groups for
a long time, Dispatch fire and police at the same time, or fire truck and ambulance at the same time.

Going to go back to GIMP to get my Unit files straight. Hoppah gave me some insight on what I may have done wrong.
going to try it out today.
Norm,
-
Paint.Net works fine for me. Maybe its the format.
Most unit images use DXT3. DXT1 makes all transparent colors white or black. DXT5 is the best quality but biggest file size.
You would want DXT3 because the unit images and command icons are semi transparent.
My guess you lost the alpha channels and that messed things up
All of that has went over my head lol. I can only cut and paste, Maybe someone can do a tutorial on it.

I'm really sorry if that was posted already, but tow truck has no rear wheels at all. Just a side note.
Looks so good, really. Only thing that freeplay map is missing is park patrol, in my opinion.
The tow truck is a known bug, not sure if a fix has been found yet or not. I believe it was a scaling issue, from memory.
I just opened the editor and open the childs on the tow truck and changed the wheels, it used the freightliner
wheels on the front and none on the rear. I found the topkick wheels and added them.
Anyway, there're two models of flatbed in game... Gives options.
I don't remember having two available in-game.
Hey Xplorer, I noticed after I did the wheels on the topkick that the vehicle sat kind of low,
if I give them the proper clearance the wheels are partially below the ground. so I adjusted
them so that the rear wheels are past the wheel wells. In-game it doesn't look at all noticeable.

Here is an example; the generic big.dds from Hoppah's tutorial is 16.1 KB's. The big.dds file for 110lapdsuv is also 16.1 KB's.
I can open some dds files in Nero Photosnap Viewer, this comes with the Nero Burning Software. I then convert it usually to a png
file. I then open it in GIMP and cut and paste from a FRAPS screenshot from the EM4 Editor. I then use Nero Photosnap Viewer to
convert it back to a dds file. After doing this for my Baltimore County Suburban the big.dds file is now 14.4 KB's. If I use the blank
big.dds file from Hoppah's tutorial it will show up ingame as the blue with white grid lines without the vehicle. If I use the edited file with my
BCoPD Suburban, it will show up ingame as a white spot. I tried to upload the dds file (before and after editing), but that format
is not allowed.
Norm,

That was the problem. It works now.
Thanks!

Does the kb size of the .dds images that display pictures of the vehicle in game matter?
Norm,
-
In the editor, have you have you gone into the traits section and given the vehicle a classification? With out this it will not know where to spawn at.
Norm,

Amazing work Xplorer4x4, this could quickly become my Favourite LA Submod. recorded 4 episodes and I just can't stop playing it.
This mod is getting to be my fav. Love your channel Alex, watch a lot of your vids.
the ambulance and towing continue with the white squares
I don't think I'm having a problem with missing coronas, I will check later.
