I added the Bomb Squad from another mod. The officer is there, the uniformed officer is there,
but when I try to get the bomb robot, it gives me an x symbol. I looked at the Unit XML
and the Editor as well as several other places. What am I missing?

Just getting back to working on my mod. I know I have to edit the tga map file. The question I have is, do I have to convert the .dds file to .tga or the .eft file?

Don't know if your still having the problem, but you have given this character a few too many commands. 11 commands max, I don't know if this is affecting it though.

Just about to test run this script in my mod.

That would so fit the Baltimore City mod (wip). Here we have Central Booking which is at the City Jail. A prisoner is taken to the district station if they need further questions and investigation.

Here is a tutorial that I had come across a while back; it has really helped me to create my own mod. I hope that it will be a great tool in creating your mod. I am not the author, that privilege goes to rodneymillerpca. There are others who have been given credit for this tutorial, they are credited in the tutorial.

I think the Northview - South County v2.0.5 has what your looking for. I am going to try and do my mod the same way.

I don't know much about scripting, but I am learning more and more. Just one thing that I want to change and that is the patrol part. It's fine if they have a prisoner and they are waiting to drop them off. I want them to go to their designated spot afterward and standby, like in North Creek Mod. I will either use Xplorer's original 4x4 mod or North Creek. So how do I stop them from patrolling?

I was just thinking that if it was possible to create lightbars (model and prototype files) and already have the lighting done. Could this be a mod that can be made, so that we can choose to use whichever we needed. I don't know much about lighting at this point in time, but if I was able, I would attempt it.

Thanks, it's slow going. Got a few bugs, so after I get my vehicles done. I'll need a few testers. I posted that I had to restart the mod due to my hard drive taking a dive. I staffed the Rollback/Tow Truck with an Engineer/Mechanic. I have a problem, the engineer can exit the vehicle but he cannot re-enter. Loot helped me out with the entercar.script. Due to my hard drive going I lost a lot of modified scripts. I tried but could not make the script work. Can someone help out. PLEASE!!!!!!!

It's honestly useless, IMO.
For sake of realism, if a vehicle is in need of repair, I call a tow truck or mechanic. A few modders have done this. In my private mod I have it like this.

Hello guys,
since a few weeks I working on a little mod based on the fictional Firehouse from the movie "Ladder 49".
At the moment the plan is to creat a little mod, where the user plays the fire trucks and crew from one fire house. The map will be new, I guess the half of the freeplay map.
The player should have normal day calls and at irregular intervals bigger calls (e.g. big house fire etc.). I want to show the life on the station also ^^ The focus is based at the 2 Fire Trucks from the Station you play, police and ambulance have no big role.
Vehicles planned:
Police:
3x Patrol car
Ambulance:
2x ALS Ambulance
1x BLS Ambulance
Fire Department:
- Ladder 49
- Engine 33
- other crews from around the city, not much
