  1. if you are trying to learn its better to look at someone elses work and see how it operates. i used the la mod and started messing around with it. after a while i started to get what everything did and how to change it.
  2. i dont think they work on time, they sound like they work off the VO's and how many cars pass the VO. I could be wrong, thats just how i took it.
  3. if you dont build it, people will add it later, lol. looking good guys, keep up the good work.
  4. seating capacity can be edited on the fsstart script or in the unit folder. the only program you need for that is notepad (thats what i use and its easy). the children are the doors and wheels (as far as i know). it could also be a light bar, ladders, whatever equipment you wanted.
  5. i wouldnt be able to tell you without looking at the map. i got my info from here.
  6. you are missing the third number. 1_1_1-light 1 1_2_2-light 2 1_3_3-light 3 1_4_4-light 4
  7. what are you trying to link? they have the same vehicle and its just looking at if there is a open spot to place the vehicle. if its empty it parks if not it tries the next and so on until there is no open spots. i dont know what happens with it when there is no spots.

  9. when it crashes, what does it say or does it just push you to your desktop
  10. translation, when the admins on the site approve the download it will be in the download section.
  11. you have released good submods for what you have had to work with, problems and all. good job and keep up the work
  12. if you want the equipment on the engine you need to go to the editor and find the engine and click on equipment (i think that is what its called) and check off the equipment you want

  14. you would have to modify the firestation scripts to individually open the bay doors, and that sounds like a lot of work
  15. you would have to adjust the scripting for it.
  16. Hoppah didnt put the areal ladder in FS2. but if you search the forum there are threads that will help you adjust your scripts to do what you want

  18. in your scripts for the fire trucks change all the 1's to 3's. make sure you do it to both the start and station scripts.
  19. everything works, i just need to polish up the submod, add some extras, and adjust some things and its v1A out the door
  20. MikeyPI, the grass in the open field parts and a 4 helo pad gets uncovered, pow! USCG on land, lol. that was a joke, for all you non jokers. on a serious note, looking good and take your time. quality over quantity.
  21. you guys are killing me with this third fire station. i am working as fast as i can with as much accuracy as possible to show you guys it is possible. if i could find a way to make a video i would just to show you. but for now you just have to wait.
