Busy day here yesterday: EPD executed a traffic stop about 3.5 miles pretty much right down the road from here. Guy took off on foot and got about 10 second of running time before the cop caught him. Turns out he had warants out of Alabama and had been on the run. Warrants were related to theft and PD ran a TV and Blu Ray player found the suspects truck. I didnt hear is they came back stolen or not but the cop seemed to be getting a bit annoyed because he had to repeat a serial number to dispatch like 4 or 5 times. 30-60 minuets later: EPD or VCSO(Sheriff) again went for a traffic stop that resulted in a chase. They didnt go far but the suspects turned down a gravel driveway, I assume they thought it was a gravel road, and kept going untill they ran into a field and eventually got stuck. I think they pretty much gave up since there vehicle was stuck in the mud.This chase ended about one mile down the road from where I live. Scott Township Dispatched Engine 1,Medic 1, Medic 3, and Rescue 3 may have gone to, for a MVA on Interstate 64 near Owensville(No not Evansville), now any idiot that knows the area can figure out this would be outside there district with out even knowing what there district is. Everyone was heading to the location when dispatch canceled and notified them it was Posey Counties district. Perry Township dispatched "Oscar"/ Rescue 5 and Rescue 8 for an MVA where the people had waited 30 minuets to call 911. Rescue 5 was given the disregard from Rescue 8(EMS Supervisor)

We had heavy snow at times yesterday but its all gone today. It was enough to make roads slick out in more rural areas around the tri state area but city streets were fine.

1. Well here there is very few high rises. I could probably count the number of buildings over 10+ stories on one hand. Now I can see where your coming from, and in this case I agree having FD on hand is a good thing, but this seems to me like a case where FD could be dispatched on a need be basis. If the call comes from a high rise structure, then FD is dispatched along with EMS. 2. Not enough for a call or not enough to for a second ambulance to provide support? 3. Nothing left to argue 4.True the truck will break down but then again most of the trucks we have are from the late 80s or early 90s. Only 3 trucks, not counting 1 Rescue, Hazmat, and Brush truck, and only the Rescue truck sees front line action on a daily basis.

Any particular reason they chose KME? Im guessing just whatever was cheapest but satisfied there needs? Are you joking about the whole BMW and Full face helmets? If so Im a bit confused to why you threw the Caprice in there unless it was generalized to other departments across the country.

10 minuets? I actually had a discussion with a local FF just a few weeks ago as I was criticizing response times for a water rescue that took place. From what I was told at the scene, it took about 20 minuets to respond and they had alot of trouble getting the engine started on the rescue boat. He said EFD usually has a truck on scene in 3 minuets and AMR in 5 minuets. Now I dont know the stats on that, if that means 3 minuets 90% of the time or what not but thats the stats I was quoted.

I am 50/50 on it. There usually dispatched at the same time and Fire almost always beats AMR and AMR is dispatched from patrol routes not a central location. If you really want to look at it from a money stand point, consider this, aside from 2 of the 15-20 stations in the city, each station runs either 1 engine or 1 quint/ladder/tower. My district is covered by a 2009 Spartan Gladiator/Ferrara HD-77ft Quint. Now in terms of available trucks out there, shes a beautiful truck but shes not the biggest. We also have a 1998 Spartan/LTI 102' Rear-mount platform that was moved from one station to another because of the stress of running so many medical runs on such a big truck. Thats when FD was only called on ALS calls(even though there BLS only), and in the new location this monster still makes 500+ runs a year.Those quints must really chug the gas making medical runs, and both Rescue trucks running in the city are both located down town which is pretty centrally located in Evansville but none the less these trucks have to come clear across town at times. 1) It may have more equipment but does it have more medical equipment? I suppose this comes down to department regulations, but I would guess theres more fire related equipment then medical. 2) Well of course, but another mabulance would be more useful then a cop to. 3) This sounds better then a fire truck and ambulance to me. 4) seems all the more reason to do 2 ambulances to me. One of our county departments has a Durango that was originally used as BC, but is now used primarily for the medical supervisor as he has to go on all medical calls in the district.

Your chief goes by portable 1-1? or was he using a hand held? There was drama at a local night club this morning about 3 AM. 1 Officer works security there all the time and he called for back up, about 2 or 3 more units came, the he called for the wagon. Cop couldnt find the wagon parked at the station. Then some one was blocking traffic in the parking lot and trying to instigate more fighting. Shortly after there was a fight down the street, I assume from the people blocking the parking lot exit instigating it. There was a fight behind another night club down town. Turned out to be a false alarm. Hit and run, Van flipped and hit a utility pole taking it out and some how managed to take of driving again, or atleast took of on foot. PD responded, Engine 3 Rescue 1 and AMR was dispatched. AMR was canceled in route.

I believe theres still certain speed limits they must follow, atleast here I am pretty sure there is. I recall some one pulling out in front of an ambulance a few months ago and getting t-boned. Witnesses said the ambo was doing highway speeds in a 30 MPH zone, and I believe there was mention that they still have to follow certain regulations.

Well depends, I think code 3, TA, and a simple L/R pattern or something where higher visibility isnt needed is reasonable. Thatd be one more pattern then what we currently have.

Whens the release date? Looking good so far. Now I have no idea how NY dispatch works but I would say drop the NYPD/FDNY option because your already choosing if you want to dispath for Fire,EMS or Police runs so it seems a bit redundant.

I am trying to make my script similar to ShaneGreens where USAR divers are able to change clothes into a diver if a HES or USAR Truck is on scene. I want to do the same thing but instead of doing this for HES and USAR(RW Vehichle Types) I want to apply it to the SWR Truck(TFMB) I know theres a problem because my EM3 crashes when i try to load the map with the modified script but if i put in the untouched script from the AUS, it loads fine. Must be a small typo somwhere. Hopefully some one can help me. EDIT: Got it.

Read up on multiplayer. The fire stations wont have any units in them at start.

Turns out the audio driver was not the issue, but it did fix another problem I had. Anyways I think i found the problems. It was related to B's Recorder Gold or something like that. I had to delete a low level hardware filter. Anyways, on the issue of the SWR, I have tried a few things but cant get it to work. I am guessing the boat need to be defined as a child since it is a child on the truck?

What app are you using for exporting?

I suggest notepad2 rather then standard notepad. It was designed with coding/scripting in mind and numbers each line for quick trouble shooting when you get a script error that references a line number. dds converter isnt needed in paint.net,photoshop(if you use the nvidia dds plug in) and I think Gimp supports DDS out of the box.
