Looks amazing will both schemes be present? sorry :/
Yes, both variants of the Crown Victoria will be present
-
Saying that, whether it's fictional or not I'm not too fussed. I generally like mods that are based off of a certain area but are not exactly the same as that area. It allows the modders to have more fun in making it and for the end result to be more exciting too.
Looks amazing so far, the skinning really matches the look and feel of the mod.
Thank you for the compliment. It's a great feeling when you know that people think the concept works!

An update on the Wisconsin State Units that was promised; this doesn't contain all the units that have been made, a Ford Taurus and Chevrolet Impala are included with the State Police, though are not in the screens.
Notice those lovely chevrons on the back, one of my favourite parts of the design
Wisconsin State Patrol Pulling over a Black SUV (Old Scheme)
Wisconsin State Patrol Roadblock (New Scheme)
Unit Summary

I am currently in the process of updating all the EMS units; they'll be split in to numerous private companies, along with a 'Stillwater Rescue Service' department. I may add a Fire Department variant of the ambulance, though we'll see how it turns out! As for the Stillwater Rescue Service, I've created the following seal/flag for the town, in this case specific to EMS:
I will be updating you guys very shortly with the newer EMS units and their design, as well as with the State Trooper units; I'm in the process of getting new screens for showcase.

An update on our new scheme for the Stillwater Fire and Rescue service. There are some units missing from the images below, with changes and edits to everything you see below; units are still constantly being added.

It's going really well so far and I congratulate you on your work.

Ooh, I think I know which state this is!! Can I guess?
Of course if you want to! We won't confirm though, as this is just a bit of fun until we've got all our units ready to showcase.

Just a small update for everyone:
The team is very close to finishing the State Police Units for the Stillwater Modification, and will be presenting you all with screens very shortly.
As a little clue to all of you wondering where we'll be set, I give you this:

"The unique thing about this mod is that the community will mesh the way it turns out by your suggestions and criticism! So have at it."
This mod will be meshed by the community in the way that we accept the opinions and criticisms of the community here, however, that doesn't make us mindless slaves to a majority of people who seem to posses little modding capabilities but endlessly vast imaginations and concepts. Our 'Stillwater' is fictional, so obviously we're open to the ideas of everybody, and we're very happy to receive those ideas as they progress us forward; however, we don't exist to be dictated to, and if we have denied a SUGGESTED change because we feel it doesn't fit with our image, then the community should accept that, or learn to.
All the work that goes in to this project is in our private time, often after very busy days and at times when you'd rather just sit back and do nothing. It's not appreciated when we're treated with criticism that has already and consistently been responded to; we're not changing the back of the rescue truck, so we KINDLY ask that people do not continue to talk about it.
Best Regards, and with a great love for this community (Hopefully evident from the work the guys and I have tried to put in here),
Rlast.
P.S. This is not to say stop posting AT ALL, just remain conscious of our project image, and how it's not possible, as erfd said, to please everyone!

Tell you what, Ill leave you in charge of anything you want to do PD wise, (Swat, state troopers, sheriffs etc)
Sounds good; just direct me to any models you want to use and I'll get started on them.
Also, would if be possible to know the TS3 information for the MERU server, I lost it stupidly
-
Really like this skin better! Mind doing our CVs and Chargers? Lol
That wouldn't be a problem at all, I have huge respect for what you guys are doing and would be happy to help.
Also, do you plan on adding State Units for whatever real or fictional state Stillwater is located in? I'd be happy to help on creating any unit designs!

If you're looking for a bit of inspiration Raf, here's an example of something I came up with in a simple 10 minutes or so; if you need any help don't feel afraid to contact me. (One side finish, just to brainstorm)

Posted this a while ago; made a few extra additions!

Please don't tell me this mod is dead!
Sadly we don't appreciate asking for release dates, or even asking for "rough estimates". The truth is the team are very busy in their personal lives so they don't want to be stuck to deadlines that they're forced to set by the community, hence release dates are not finalised. At the moment, the mod can still be classed as 'in-progress', you just need to be patient and it'll be on its way.
Personally, I've entered a very busy period in my life so I only have time to offer help to the Honolulu Mod Project, which has a smaller team and fewer jobs to complete. That's outside the amount of working that I'm doing outside of modding, which just leaves me too tired to work on anything.
Regards,
Rlast.

Looking great Handsup! Awesome to see you've started work on one of your own modifications, and I'm sure all those you've supported in their efforts will come and support yourself
Though, if I make just one suggestion, perhaps use an NNICO model of the Crown Victoria instead; it's got a more detailed UV Map. If you want to avoid coding problems, and just want a re-skin of the LA Mod, then it'll be awesome all the same.
Good luck!

You're correct. It's the new design for the Sheriff's department, one that I'm actually sticking with this time.
Ah, well I respect the authenticity of the units you've created here; sometimes you see people taking it too far with their fictitious towns, yet you've struck such a perfect balance that it was only a few months ago I realized it wasn't a real place! Keep up the fine work sir.

Excellent, years of hard work packed tightly in to a 1:38 video. Question, at 0:29, is that some kind of Sheriff Department in Chester County, if not, which enforcement service is it?
-
I agree with JrFF32, it makes you screenshots a lot easier to see and it turns the page more professional if you use the embed command.

Good Teaseday Folks!
Since Xandarb is out of town at the moment, spending his life in a lovely little Finnish cottage, I'll be handling this one!
Here's what we've got for you this week, a sneak peak of our EMS services:
Model by NNICO and reskin and lights made by Xandarb the almighty.
Have a good one! Rlast.

Whatever i do, this refuses to work. I rename cv_lapd.dds to cv_lapdedit.V30 and load up my mod in editor. I continue to supposedly unpack the file. Everything goes fine, so i expect to be able to edit it after naming it cv_lapd.dds again. However, i still get the 'File format could not parse this line' error, as if it were packed! This is really annoying. I can't make ANY progress on ANYTHING without at least an unlocked LAPD patrol car, and it's really starting to annoy me.
Help!
Don't change the original file name, just change the extension format. For example, change cv_lapd.dds to cv_lapd.dds.v3o.
It looks as if you have two extensions, but you don't, as the .v3o will superceed the .dds.
After that, head in to the editor, unpack as normal, and rename cv_lapd.dds.v3o back to cv_lapd.dds
Hope it helps,
Rlast.

Those units look pretty cool, but I can't really tell or see any detail because the screenshot size is too small. Try taking a print screen, and cropping in Photoshop, then uploading to imageshack and embedding the direct link.

Good luck, it'll be great to see some screens as soon as everything's on its way to development. May I also suggest a more detailed unit plan, categorised in to Police, EMS and Fire, listing all the engines, and policing units etc. It'll get people more interested!

Those state units are ottimo!
Why a submod by chance?

Concerning what's so far been accomplished, it looks great! I do love those models, and the textures look fantastic.
Keep it up!
