Never heard of it...

thats in the unit.xml The top where it says UNIT_ID then something like SS_AGENT Example <unit id="SS_SUV">
-
Well I could, but I look at it this way, I save money, because the ladder is on map, plus the ladder is only used for secondary response, after units are on scene, but need backup OR when it is a big fire, then in that case, I pack up the ladder crew, and they go out to the fire in progress from scene, while the team from the ALS ambulance takes care of it (while Ladder crew packing up the ALS team gets jaws off the truck)
-
first of all, it was a joke from a modding challenge earlier, look and you'll see his and mikey's great models (I love them ) To make the unmarked car change colours, you need to reskin it, and make a new unit, with the exact same things as the black one, but now with a different Unit ID as well as the new skin I take it you understand skinning and that stuff right?

oh well, it might be a type of jaws or something like that. I only use the ladder for MVA's because it is better for what I need. I don't need 5 people at an MVA, 2 firefighters and a few ambos is good for me. Plus if I get a big fire call or something, I have my engines all cleared.. I plan ahead
-
Now I have no idea what a holamtro tool is, I use it because it has the jaws. I do believe I have the engine set with the jaws as well, but I like to keep those for fires, just in case

it was, he redid it though

Most people now, be it ALS firefighter, BLS firefighter, cop, or even people like me are trained to use defibrillator, because it is part of the most basic first aid course. Now as for whether or not trucks carry them, yes a lot of them do, but you have to remember these are very expensive machines, ranging around a few thousand dollars. Defibrillators are not really that hard to use in most cases, as things like this are becoming much more user friendly, so if they are ever needed, it doesn't take a doctorate to use. Hope this might explain a bit

The engineer can place a flood light ( I do believe it is the light one in Em3 LA mod) and it can be rotated around, if that is what you are talking about

well I only send hazmat if it is needed:P I have adopted a new fire protocol. For all fire calls (structural) I send one engine. When this engine arrives on, then I decide whether or not to call for backup. If the structure is fully engulfed, then I will send out a ladder. If it is something like a dumpster fire, then no need to. My first responding engine will have a crew of 4. If another Engine is needed, I put 6 firefighters on it. I will send ALS engine if there is risk of someone being hurt, if not, then I send BLS (unless it is closer to station 2) If it is a vehicle fire, then nearest engine or brush responds. Car accidents will have A Ladder and 1 ALS ambulance respond. If car may be in water, then I send a USAR instead of Ladder, and I put diver on board, I will also call in either HR or the crane, depending on it's location (Crane for industrial areas) Hazmat Events: HAZMAT 4 will respond to ALL calls with HAZMAT. If it is birds, then I will overrule the need for HAZMAT 4, and I may just call in an ALS ambulance staff with HAZMAT officers, unless people get infected. Then HAZMAT 4 is needed. Other than that, I will usually just call out the squad, and if it is something like the cloud, or with lots of people, then I will also staff an ambulance or two with HAZMAT teams. I think I covered it all, any questions?

Guess the Emergency Vehicle Challenge
Newfoundking replied to Newfoundking's topic in [EN] Off Topic
Um, Korea? Or is that too far east? I am just setting up a perimeter now -
Well there are many more events for deluxe freeplay, I think like 5 or so... So you have to turn down some events, and maybe even turn off some all together.
-
Um, to my knowledge (might not be completely acurate) but the LA county coroner only uses this type of vehicle for transportation of bodies. The rest are for investigative, or whatever. But if you meant something like this Those don't do transportation of bodies... -NFK
-
In reference to the E-series used for coroners, a lot of agencies use them, because they provide the space, and are relatively cheap. However some places also use other types of vehicles for coroners. Basically it is like crown victorias and patrol cars, They dominate it pretty much. Now you will see other ones occasionally, but the main one is crown vics, the same is true for coroner vans

most cars chosen for policing usually don't need any adjustments from factory default except minor things like power and that.. Elsewise it would be too expensive to make. When companies make certain types of cars, they have ideas for what they want, like if they want it to be a cop car, they make it suitable to be a cop car.

Well I'm going to get in contact with Adobe, and get all the stuff I would need.
-
Is it installed on that computer?

haha i did that once, ended up losing 5 men, and had a 2 alarm fire! After a while they start throwing all kinds of things, so I just arrest the guy with the sign the moment I get on scene, and the second officers points his/her gun at anyone who attacks the arresting officer.. After he puts that person in the car, I arrest anyone who attacked my officers, and let everyone else free... I charge the sign guy with Disturbing the peace, etc. And the others for disturbing the peace, and assualt on an officer of the law

It's okay, Mikey, I love your models! Edit, I almost forgot Hoppah's truck, I love that too! Woops sorry got my words wrong by truck I meant muscle car! Sorry!
-
Oh my... You guys are after getting awful saucy, (translation = really sarcastic) I love it!
-
Well the only things that aren't translated are the sound files for the calls and a few deluxe menu Items... I am going to edit those to work better and be readable soon
-
Well I usually have things, like response sqwuds set up, so for some calls but not all, I go all out, and send my specialized squad to it
-
For hostage situations, I usually respond with a nearby patrol car, and maybe METRO Demonstration is handled the same way, and if it gets big then LASD van and the SWAT team I respond fire to all fires, and medical units all over, and pick people up as ambulances free up... I will usually only call out both stations, any ambulances patrolling, and maybe one or two from off map, but never more than 3 from off map For the Traffic light failure or something along those lines, TEC will respond, and police might also depending on the busyness of the intersection
-
well with LA mod, it translates almost everything, and I am working on translating almost everything else

I come bearing one picture from a car accident Probably 2 minutes from my house if you are rolling code 3. I didn't get the Fire truck, because it didn't turn on the siren until it was passing my house, so I didn't get it, but I have decided to take pictures of all Emergency Vehicles that go past my house, which is about 5-10 a day, sometimes more if there is a fire. Anyways, here it is.
