  1. That's because you're not supposed to play Endless The game is mission 1 in the campaign, just like the RTS mod
  2. Too bad they don't get paid, it's a volunteer department If you still have the guy in red available, he has the "Stop civilians" button I think, so he can shoo them outside If not use firefighters to escort them out. A bit fidly, but it works for now. I think I found the reason for alot of the BTDs/CTDs. There is something wrong with the siren script for the TLF. It doesn't come on when I click the siren button, when I click it many times the game crashes, and when the TLF arrives on scene and is supposed to turn of the siren automaticly, the games crashes. The error messages says something about mTestSir, or mSirTest or something like that. And something about object not beeing in current scope.
  3. Happened to me twice. Once with a whole group of people, once with a single man while the rest left. It's a bug.
  4. Was probably a specific location, like the gas station (tankstelle), or something along those lines. Just look for the red dot on the map. Vehicles: ELW: Battalion commanders vehicle LF: Fire engine w. 8 fire fighters TLF: Fire engine with larger water tank and 5 fire fighters DLK: Ladder truck RW: Rescue vehicle with shares and other rescue gear GW-N / GW-Nachschub: Supply truck MTF: Crew transporter, to get additional units to the scene
  5. So when will this be released? I kid, I kid! Don't ban me. <_< Can't believe I didn't check this thread out before The pics look great, nice work As for the standpipes (thanks for posting that btw e34p, didn't know what they were called and I'm trying to translate a mod where they're used), the Wegberg mod which was just released uses them, and I think I've seen them before somewhere, so it's definitely is possible. Though more of a long term thing for a future release. Again, nice work so far, looking forward to trying it out
  6. Righty. I'll get it done tomorrow. Got most of the lang .xml files done, just need the ones in the UI folder. I translated the important bits of the main menu as well.
  7. Hit somewhat of a snag in the translation :/ The new GUI (which looks great btw) is a picture, a .png file. Hence I can't translate what it says on the buttons without editing the picture. Marco: Would you mind if I sent you a translation suggestion for the GUI, and then you make an English version of it?
  8. Working on English translation now, will be done later today or tomorrow. @Tacticalroster22 I don't know if the foam function is fully functional But here's how I think you do it: 1. Get a hose 2. Connect to vehicle 3. Open the equipment menu, the new GUI one, top grey button on the right, says Gerate something. 4. Click on the foam unit, can't remember the name but it's on the bottom row, a red thing. Zumischer or somthing like that. 4. Get another hose 5. Connect to the foam mixer you just placed 6. ??? 7. Profit And yes, I get CTDs. And hangups. It's a pretty new mod so it's to be expected.
  9. I think there might be an error with the foam. I can't seem to be able to put out fires in cars that have already blown up, even if the foam mix is attached, and a hose is attached to that. Also, how do I get the screen where I can alert a RTW?
  10. Happy New Year to the Wegberg Mod team! Can't wait to try this mod out next week when I have more time on my hands. I must say it's great to see new mods actually being released, especially one as comprehensive as this one, with this amount of scrips and the new GUI.
  11. I wasn't aware this was a issue :/ Sorry, can't help you there. Then you have to update The current version is 7.6, and according to the change log those issues should have been solved in the latest version
  12. The things on the left are event and object IDs. The ones on the right is what you see on the screen. Don't touch the IDs, that'll just mess things up. Just translate the stuff on the right. Good luck! I'll pick up where you leave off, and we'll have an English translation in no time.
  13. You find the files in the "lang" folder, in the mod folder. You just translate those I'd do it, but I don't have the time right now. Come Monday, or at least some time that week I'll have time.
  14. I thought the swimming pool bug had been fixed :/ But yeah, it's a bug. And @917893678251, I think the higher the number, the more of that type you get. I think they denote how many of that type of incident you get on average per 10 minutes.
  15. Like I said on the page before this, you find the install file for the Configurator in the Winterberg mod file. IE the "Winterberg Update" file, in the "Mods" file in the game directory.
  16. Did you miss the whole forum section dedicated to the LA mod?
  17. If you look a couple of posts up, dtmdragon has posted a screenshot of it. You find the install file in the mod folder. For example: c:/program files/sixteen tonnes entertainment/mods/Winterberg Update. After you've installed it, remember to run it as administrator if you're using Win Vista or 7. In the configurator you can select language (just click on one of the flags), you can disable and enable different events, edit various graphics etc etc. After it's installed, you normally find a shortcut to it in the start menu.
  18. It's not available on their site anymore, since it's included in the download Yeah, there are a lot of functions to get your head around. If you can do a translation to your language that would be great. And we're here to answer any questions you or others might have. We were making a german/english manual a while back, but it fell through for various reasons.
  19. It's in one of the tabs/menus at the top, either "Data" or "Map selection" I think. Could be one of the others though, just check them
  20. Ah yes, that's the new feature: vehicles now leaves tracks in the snow. And that makes the game lag. You can turn it off with the Winterberg Configurator. If you don't have it installed, you can find the installer for it in the Winterberg Mod file, in the 911:FR/EM4 file. It has to be 7.61 version of the Wib Configurator. To turn them off, start up the Wib Confi, and select on of the tabs on top. I think it might be the "Map" tab, but I'm not sure. Look for an option called "schneespur" or something along those lines, and then "deaktiver", or something like that, pretty self-explanatory. You can leave the Snow option on, that doesn't affect performance very much. Not more than normal weather effects. It might still lag a little in the begging, since there's a lot of people spawning in the Christmas market at the town center, but that'll get better. Hope that fixes it for you, did it for me.
  21. I can't wait! I've been looking forward to this mod ever since it was announced, and we got the first pictures.
  22. Been a while since I had one of these...let's see if I can remember. The firefighter manning the hose needs a hazmat suit as well. Alternatively, just use the water cannon on top of the HLF Winterberg, or the GTLF Bad Berleburg. To seal the leak, I think you need to pick up some gear, and I think that gear is located in the GW-Mess. You can get an explanation on how to solve different hazmat incidents by clicking on the dangerous goods plate/sign (I can't remember if you find it in the vehicle, incident commander or vehicle commander menus, it's an orange plate/sign with black letters), and then clicking on the vehicle involved.
  23. Wow, I'm loving the new GUI. Can't wait! We could split the load, do half the files each.
