  2. Dyson, a small suggestion to help with the traffic congestion issue some people have: The police helicopter in the winterburg mod has a command that makes all the traffic on the map disappear and reset itself, maybe something similar in this mod would be quite helpful?
  3. This mod looks awesome! I can't wait guys, keep up the great work!
  4. Done some more testing and the crash is definatley caused by vehicals returning to station. However it is random which one will cause it and how long into the game it might happen. One time it was the Battalion chief on his first time returning to station and another time it was Rescue one on about the 10th time it had returned to station etc.
  5. Awesome work guys! A few issues I’ve had: - Put SCBA on/off and put bunker gear off/on while in vehicle command only works on 3 of the 6 passengers. - When I have a crash it seems to be after a vehicle has been sent back to station or HQ (off map) - Not sure if its a fault or not but when my units enter or exit the station the 3 fire fighters that stop the traffic do not get back into the vehicle once it has entered or exited the station. As I said I’m not sure if they are meant to or not but I think it would help the flow of game play if they did. - Car fire incident: quite often by the time I have got an engine to exit the station and respond the car has exploded and I lose that incident before I even get there. A solution might be speeding up the exit station script with the above suggestion. Keep up the great work and thanks for all your efforts guys.
  6. I am a fulltime career fire fighter so I am well aware what happens at a house fire. It is commonly accepted internationally that the minimum crew for an interior fire attack or search and rescue is four. That is not to say four will enter but for a crew of two to enter there must be a rescue team of at least two outside. In North America I believe this is called the 'two in, two out rule.' With the first arriving appliance the Officer and pump op/driver for fill the role of the rescue crew until a second appliance arrives. Practically they are busy doing other things but it satisfies the health and safety policy etc. Ah that answers my question thanks.
  7. Nice work, love the map! A few questions; is there any plans to get the Battalion chief’s call units script working? Also why do you only have crews of three in the fire appliances? Most departments/ Services use four as their 'minimum shift manning'/ crewing due to health and safety reasons. You will usually only get crews of three in small privatised Fire Departments/ services due to the cost cutting that privatising brings. Unfortunately is at the detriment of the service provided to the community and the safety of the Fire fighters. Here in New Zealand we have four as our minimum (and maximum) shift manning for an individual appliance but we envy those in places like New York and London with bigger budgets that carry more!
  8. How is the guide coming along? I use this when I'm playing:http://www.shoestring-graphics.com/CP2020/medtech/procedures/protocols.htm
  9. Nice work this is the one of (if not the) best EM4 mod out! Looking foward to the final version and the drug guide. I use a paramedic protocol website to help me when I play lol
  10. Any one know what the 'VU' stands for? Haufigkeit technische Einsatze (VU, Baum...
  11. Hi Dyson, I also tried doing this with the LA mod ladder truck by doing the following: - Added the 4 connections to the ladder truck with the editor and named them pump1 to 4, - Added the following the the 'attachfirehose' script in the appropriate places: const char PROTO_LADDER[] = "mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/02 LA Fire Department/aerial_ladder.e4p"; const char OBJ_LADDER_CONN[] = "mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/06 Objects/fire_engine_hose_connections.e4p"; || StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), PROTO_ENGINE02) == 0 else if (StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), PROTO_LADDER) == 0) Vehicle o = Game::CreateVehicle(OBJ_LADDER_CONN, NAME_CONNECTORS); - Added the following to the 'LARapidDeployment' script in the appropriate places: const char PROTO_LADDER[] = "mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/02 LA Fire Department/aerial_ladder.e4p"; || StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), PROTO_LADDER) == 0 - Added the rapid deployment script to the Ladder truck with the editor. Unfortunately it didn’t quite work. I can attach the four hoses via the rapid deployment command or manually by equipping the fire fighters with a hose and using the attach hose icon. I can also de-connect the hose with the rapid deployment command or manually. However once I have disconnected the hose the hose connections disappear from the ladder truck and I can't reconnect the hose manually or with the rapid deployment command. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Cheers, Dan.
  12. Heparin should be used to treat a Myocardial Infarction but make sure you diagnose it with the ECG first. - Let me know if this info is helping anyone
  13. I’ve also used Dobutrex to raise a patient’s heart rate and blood pressure after a successful resuscitation, but I presume you should probably use Noradrenalin instead since it is the one used at the lower blood pressure (below 70mmhg) for congestive heart failure.
  14. Here is a link to some paramedic protocols which I find helpful for some of the more complicated medical conditions. I’ve also got some extra info on some of the drugs you can use in the game: http://www.shoestrin...s/protocols.htm Drugs in the White doctors case: Belloc- typo it should read Beloc and is used for high blood pressure and angina. Coradarex- a.k.a. Dobutamine is used for congestive heart failure to raise the blood pressure. Some protocols say to use it when the blood pressure is greater than 100mmhg. Ebrantil- Used to control a hypertension emergency. Etomidate- Is a short acting intravenous anesthetic agent used for the induction of general anesthesia and for sedation for short procedures such as reduction of dislocated joints, tracheal intubation and cardioversion. It has a safe cardiovascular risk profile, and therefore is less likely to cause a significant drop in blood pressure. Use on patients with traumatic brain injury because it is one of the only anesthetic agents able to decrease intracranial pressure and maintain a normal arterial pressure. Ketanest- a.k.a Ketamine or Special ‘K.’ is an anesthetic and analgesia agent, in the game one dose will sedate the patient and another dose will induce anesthesia. When used at anesthetic doses, it will usually stimulate rather than depress the circulatory system so it is used in emergency medicine for entrapped patients suffering severe trauma. Because of those characteristics it is also sometimes used in anesthesia for emergency surgery when the patient's fluid volume status is unknown e.g. traffic accidents. Lastic- Used for Congestive heart failure/ Pulmonary Edema. Noradrenalin- a.k.a Norepinephrine is used to treat congestive heart failure/ Pulmonary Edema by raising the blood pressure when it is below 70mmhg. Valium- a.k.a Diazepam is used to control seizures and as a pre treat before cardioversion along with morphine; however I don’t know if the game accepts this as being correct. Drugs in the second section of the Red case that can be administered by the ambulance crew without the doctor present, (click the small arrow icon on the red case to access them): Sultanol- a.k.a subutamol is used to treat asthma. Epinephrine- Used to control allergic reactions, it increases the heart rate, constricts blood vessels and dilates airways. Pulmicort- Treating asthma. Infectokrupp Inhalant- An inhalant version of Epinephrine. Diazepam tube- a.k.a Valium is used to control seizures etc. Nitro Spray- is used to treat a heart attack and/or chest pain it may lower blood pressure and increase heart rate. Panadol- fever and pain I assume? Rectodelt- to treat asthma. Please feel free to post any corrections or tips/protocols you’ve figured out. Cheers.
  15. The vehicle tracks in the snow are slowing the game down to a stutter but the configurator doesn’t appear to have the option to turn them off or on like it did last time
  16. Does anyone know how to edit events occuring in single player missions? Im asking specificly for ERS Berlin, I know you can do it for freeplay games by editing the fp_params_endless.xml file in the Specs folder.
  17. Great work guys I’ve been watching this mod evolve and develop while plenty of other mods have fallen by the wayside, I can’t imagine the time and effort you all must be putting into it. I hope the server doesn’t crash with all the downloading when you finally release it! lol
  18. Interesting statement....???... I'm with Eiso, when you pull up to a persons reported house fire at 2 in the morning and its 25 meters down a right of way I'm pretty sure you'll find yourself running full speed in scba- not to mention dragging a hose over one shoulder with a braking in tool jammed under your arm as well!
  19. Any chance of an english tutorial/instructions on how to use the configurator to make changes to the AAOs? That part of the configurator is still in german and I can't get my head around it. Cheers, Dan.
  20. Anyone know how to use the configurator to change the winterberg firefighting and rescue turnouts so the fire truck responds before the van?
  21. Nice work on the translation. After a successful resuscitation a message keeps coming up: “patient clogs” I just wondered if this was a typo with the translation and what should it say?
  22. Cheers, I can't find any way to. Does anyone know how the scoring system and scale work? eg what is the lowest and highest possible score etc
