  2. This is a side project I decide to do for fun. There will be no new scripts or a new map, just a complete set of retro themed units for the LA mod. This project is planned to only cover the most essential units within the game. An early 2000's unit set will be released in this project, however it will only replace the lowest quality models in the mod. 7/30/22 Major 80's units assets are released. New scripts and features added too. Be sure to check back regularly for updates and glitch fixes. They will be announced in this thread. The future plans for this mod are the following: - 90s Civilian Cars - Helicopters for various agencies However, I would like to go back to finishing Montana mod now that this project is out. Expect the full V1 of this submod to be released after Montana mod has been completed.

  3. Not to get too off topic, but RE; the Housing Police, I read an article saying that they were disbanded in 2002 so that should fit the timeline. Squad 65 is much more experienced with skinning than I am, the last serious crack I took at it was literally about 10 years ago so if he's happy to try it then I defer to him. I also like the idea of having the LA County Police at the hospital, I know they were actually the product of a merger between a few different agencies in the mid 1990s. There was a great website a long time ago that had photos and info about the smaller LA County agencies in the 90's but I'm not sure if it's still around. I'll see if I can find it. There's also the Transit Police to consider too, I know they were merged in in 1997 or 8.

  4. No Problem, they were also used in the 70s too. Battalion Chiefs had them aswell. Pretty sure they had them on vehicles till 2010ish, last modern vehicle I saw with one was a 2006ish Chevy Tahoe/Suburban

  5. Thats how the siren is, it is setup like that since LAFD Ambulances had Martinhorns for awhile as per California state law they couldn't have a horn that interfered with the siren. All it is, is a siren file its just perfect timing

  6. Found the bug. Uploading the fix shortly. Btw if you're seeing some of the suggestions for the mod, you can be helpful. For example, AgentSmith wants Housing PD, so you could help by submitting some of those skins for this mod.

  7. The readme file is sort of a manual, but I'll probably write a full length .pdf file in the future. Thanks for the suggestion. Update: The coroner bug has been fixed. I uploaded the wrong file to here. The patch .rar includes the correct one. I have future plans for the mod that I posted on the first page.
