When you don't have the patch, you don't have the code (RESTRICT2_CANBEPICKEDUP) and that will result into a crash because the game does not recognize the code. Your problem is not related to the Los Angeles mod in any way. This means you have the normal version of Emergency 4 which requires patch 1.3 which can be downloaded here: Emergency 4 Patch 1.3 DEInstalling the patch should solve your problem.Note for other people: 911: First Responders and Emergency 4 Deluxe are already updated to 1.3 and do not require any patch.
