My V3O model looks like a turd!

Recommended Posts

I need serious HELP!

Ok, so I'm workin on a reskin..

But when I import the V3O model file, it transform from a person... to something that could come from my dog in the park... yes... a turd!

What do I do? I can't play with "turds" floating around?

See problem:

Person models always look like that when you import them to zmodeler, when you export them back, the persons will look normal in editor.

I wish :P see the picture... thats from the editor... flat and turdish...

i always use paint just convert dds to jpg and open in paint... when you are done you convert the skin back in dds. easy and free

Then don't use Zmod, you use photoshop or equivalent.

I'm trying to ADD another one, not just reskin :/

I have this same problem, any ideas?

EDIT: YES! I did it!

1. Unpack file you wish to edit (copy orginal)

2. Open it with notepad

3. Find name (not path!) of previous texture with .dds at end (for eg. policeman_m.dds)

4. Replace it with your texture name (texture file must be in folder with .v3o)

5. Save

6. You are done! A exactly same as a previous model but with other texture!
