  1. Still don't get it... and thanks for the spelling thing! I would have sounded racist
  2. Im going to download it now. Didn't notice it was released. It doesn't still have the bug where you click for the unit to leave the station, and it doesnt leave unless you click in front, and then to where its destination should be, or does it?
  3. Haha, very interesting concept there I would have thought they had a gun dual and the guy in the traffic vest won
  4. My Regional Police Service (Niagara Regional Police) uses: - Crown Victoria - Ford Expedition - Chevy Tahoe and Suburban - Dodge Charger - Chevy Impala Plus all the knick knacks like Motorcycles and Boats. No Helicopter though.. Provincial Police (Ontario Provincial Police .. O.P.P.) Chevy Tahoe/Suburban Crown Victoria (which they are discontinuing, and using Dodge Chargers now) Dodge Charger Motorcycles (Harley Davidson) They have a few helicopters stationed over the province, as well as boats, skidoos, and ATV's. If you want to see photos, go to www.policecanada.ca and check it out in the Ontario section. My display picture is one of my provincial units.
  5. With the BLS and ALS ambulances ingame, you can only transport one patient, and have one FF/PM on board with them for treatment while driving. Also, as to an earlier post I noticed, ambulances will generally never transport two patients (or atleast in Canada), depending on the situation. For the most part, they will only transport one, with a firefighter and/or paramedic on board in the rear of the ambulance to assist with the patient while one drives (of course). However, if you have 2 VERY minor injuries for patients, then I don't see why they couldn't be transported together. But remember, Canadian and American ambulances (Like the Ford's ingame), are not very big in the patient holding area, and are only meant for one stretcher, with additional seating for paramedics. Finally, on the post about points being awarded for escorting, I don't personally think that makes very much sense, because it is just a single police officer (or two), driving in front of an ambulance assuring the patient gets to the hospital safely. If it were a real situation, they wouldn't be getting paid any extra for escorts, but meh, whatever right? em4freak
  6. Yea..that was kinda black mail "I'll fix it for the mod" haha. I doubt he'll let you, but in the words of Hot Chocolate. "I believe in miracles!"
  7. Depends on how many units you have on scene. If it is an MVC at an interection, where you only need to close down 2 lanes, you will realistically only require 2-3 police units on scene. You could probably spare one of them. Just speaking realistically..
  8. Yea I agree completely, it is a large hassle at a lot of the incidents (especially if you have more than one active incident requiring EMS) to do things immediately. If you could have an ALS ambulance, which had a command where you will click on the patient, and the ambulance responds to that patient, and the EMS crews run in and treat the patient, I think that would be pretty sick. Probably not even possible, but of course it is just a thought. Second thing, for the "Police escorting ambulances are unrealistic. WRONG, police will generally escort patients at all major incidents, and any incident where there is an agressive or criminal patient. Never the less, I'm sure we are all very excited, and we just need to be patient. Best of luck Hoppah! em4freak
  9. Well i'm from the great country of Canada 2nd largest in land mass in the world
  10. One small question, why is the one officer bleeding? Lol.
  11. Wow, you did not ask that. 1) Use the SEARCH function on the forum, and 2) LOOK in the THREAD of the TOPIC (being Emergency 4 Los Angeles Mod/New Freeplay Map). Seriously, nobody has time for childish acts and stupidity. Get real.. em4freak
  12. In the editor, I forget which process it is to get to the light editing option, but if you toy around with the flash frequencies, as well as the locations and colours of lights, you're bound to find something you like and can use on other vehicles.
  13. OMGOMGOMGOMG! :D Hoppah, you never cease to amaze me. Congrats my friend, fantastic! I am so stoked to play this now...
  14. My name is Shane, and I would like to be PD/Volunteer Fire (Only assist when needed). I have been playing the emergency series for 5 years, but EM4 for 2. I also have dispatching experience if it is necessary.
  15. Very cool screenshot, but unrealistic response. You would never only send out 3 trucks if there is a fire WITH trapped, but this is a game so its different I personally like to keep it as realistic as possible (any working fire requires a first alarm response, and if it gets crazy, i'll up it to a second alarm). Nevertheless, sick shot! em4freak
  16. I agree, happy 152nd birthday Canada!
  17. Man I wish i'd seen this topic sooner Exploded Gas Pipe: Mainly a first alarm response at first (2 Engines, Rescue, Aerial, and BC), and then I generally upgrade it if the first arriving unit gets on scene, and there is a lot of fire (so an additional 2 engines). I have an ALS ambulance on standby, as well as police cruisers to make a perimiter. MVA: Seeing as all of the ingame are with entrapment, I make it a two truck response, with the BC. I have an Engine with the 2 medics, as well as either an Aerial, or Rescue (they have the extrication equip.). I will send the appropriate numbers of ambulances, as well as police, trying to leave as many lanes open in the area as possible to let the traffic flow through. Unknown Type Fire: If they state electrical fire, I make it a first alarm response, until they get on scene (i like to make it seem like I don't know what the fire is until I actually get there), and then I will take it from there. If it is just say, a fire because of a cigarette, I know it is usually a rubbish fire, so I send two rigs. Police are generally unecessary, but I send them sometimes to assist with traffic. Shootings/Shooters/Barricaded Suspects: I will usually send 3 cruisers to the barricaded suspects, and for the shootings and shooters, i send 3 Marked cars, with a SWAT Heavy Rescue, and an ALS ambulance on standby. Not too shabby eh? Ha ha. em4freak P.S. @ GerardTIII: MVA standards for Motor Vehicle Accident
  18. Could also have been a VSA. Police respond to all VSA calls, as well as EMS supervisor, Fire Department, and an Ambulance.
  19. That's for sure. I know Tim Horton's in Canada has a thing where they bring over coffee and stuff to our troops fighting over in Afghanistan.
