  1. I guess you'll be able to play it for a couple hours, but otherwise it will be waiting for you in May. Good luck.
  2. New people please take a moment to review the rules and the first and last couple pages of the thread. Some of us are starting to get annoyed at the rule breaks and repetitive questions/comments.
  3. I might have something to help you out. Search Google Maps for "Franklin Township, NJ." Use that as a guide for your map, or don't, it is your map after all. I'm just thinking it's has a mix of everything from an established town to wide open farms, to something in between. So far your map looks good, but I can't say much without buildings. Like in the top right, that could be the main fire station, a church, or a strip mall, the latter two having hugely different impacts on how I would perceive the apparent population density of your town. About the cul de sacs. In the blue collar section you have grid streets that dead end, in the white collar section, you have housing communities with cul de sacs and curvy roads. Your map looks more undeveloped rather than rural, so maybe you're looking for something else, but I thought I'd help you out if I could.
  4. I've been noticing a bug with the SE volunteer station where two green landrovers show up, but only one leaves. The volunteers get out of their own vehicles, but carpool home! I wouldnt care except for the fact that unless all the volunteers take their own vehicles all the way home, they cannot return and I have to start a new freeplay or call an extra engine from out of the map to fill up the station with regular guys. This doesnt happen all the time, and its not game breaking, but just so youre aware of it. This is in 1.4.1. Otherwise its an awesome mod, good job guys!
  5. Go into the editor, select the ladder truck, edit it, and somewhere on the main page it says "alpha reflections" with a click box. unclick it. repeat for all ladder trucks. this also works for other models (including metallic shiny people) and in other mods. usually the models look better without it but you have to check around to see if they actually do.
  6. I think this topic should be locked again until the mod developers have something to say about their contingency plan because so far its just been a flame war between people who are pissed off that they are going to have to wait and people who are supporting the modders' decision. I mean, not only is nothing productive is being said, but negative things are being said. One way or another people are going to have to wait because the modders will either take longer to complete it for em4 or have to transfer everything to em5, but in the mean time people are going to continue fighting about the decisions made by the modders. That is not what this forum is about so until everyone can cool down I think we should stop embarrassing ourselves and lock the topic. Obviously I cannot make that decision myself, but I think the moderators or developers should read this and think about it.
  7. I know you're not supposed to ask for status updates, but I don't see a progress bar or anything. I see a lot of completed vehicles, but I also know you need permission for all the models. Are you waiting for permission to to upload the mod or is it not complete yet? I'm just impatient because I live in NJ and I think it's pretty cool that you're doing an NJ mod. Thanks!
  8. When I unpack the mod from HaverHill_ModV1.0.rar it gives me a file called HaverHill_ModV1.0.0, there's no file extension. I tried putting .e4mod at the end but that doesn't work. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
  9. In my game, the traffic lights switch too fast for the cars to go through and it makes the game unplayable. I looked around and saw you have to change EACH AND EVERY traffic light to fix this. Is there a patch or something so I don't have to do this or should I start banging my head on the wall now? Is there even just a quicker way to replace it like a find and replace in some text file? Thanks
