  1. While I do not know of any, it is indeed possible. As you said it would probably work using the motorcycle script, you would have to have a horse model, with animations preferably, could use the default EM4 ones for example although I do not know if the sizes would make it look right. The horse would have to be a 'Vehicle'. To scare people away you can probably just edit the existing command for the Police dogs. Although bear in mind that when a vehicle gets close to a person anyway they run away a little.
  2. Most likely, just need to do a few bits to them first. Also I do not think that a Ceremonial Maori funeral will be part of the map They have always been in the mod, but they are unfinished so haven't been added, people have just added them themselves.
  3. Go to the EM4.exe - Right click - Send to - Desktop (Create Shortcut) - Right click the shortcut - Click properties - In the 'Target line' change 'Em4.exe' to 'Em4.exe -editor'.
  4. I will try to, yes. Very little mods are multiplayer compatible due to the scripts and features added. The mod also needs a working callout menu, which it does not have. So no, it will not be multiplayer compatible.
  5. If you mean the way you play the game, the genre you would want to search is 'RTS' (Real time strategy). If you mean like the Emergency games themselves, the only thing that comes close are the 'Rescue: Everyday Heros' games (Which, imo, are absolutely terrible).
  6. No problem, if you need any of the others let me know.
  7. Some have to be done via the scripts. Each has different ways you have to add them. I'll give you the way for the Cones/Flares and MP5. With the LAMP5 script you will have to go to 'PcmdMP5Get' and scroll down until you find these lines: if (v.IsValid() && !v.IsDestroyed() && StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), "mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/YOURLOCATION/YOURVEHICLE.e4p") == 0 ||StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), "mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/YOURLOCATION/YOURVEHICLE.e4p") == 0 ||Replace or add lines for your vehicle/s accordingly, also adding the location to the vehicle. You will have to do the same for 'PcmdMP5Remove' The code also has the following line which means that even if you have added your vehicle to the script, that vehicle MUST have 'flashgrenade' checked in its equipment list. SetRestrictions(RESTRICT_NOTDESTROYED | RESTRICT_NOTBURNING | RESTRICT_HASFLASHGRENADE);------------ Cones/Flares This requires nothing to be done to the script, just make sure that the vehicle/s you want to have Cones/Flares has 'roadblock' checked in its equipment and that it is a 'PoliceSTW' type unit.
  8. I will be preparing the map (Few bits to sort out) and fixing a couple of bits here and there, then releasing that version. That is where I shall be stopping work on it but will return to patch things in like I said in the announcement
  9. I am still releasing another version of this Mod and as I said, more if certain features are created by the community - That is what he is talking about. I cannot give a date neither a percentage. The map is pretty much done and I just need to add a Highways England vehicle, Tow Truck and tidy a few bits up here and there.
  10. I could be wrong but I think that setting it to 'Sliding' will play the animation attached to the object. Whereas 'Revolving' will turn on the set axis at the set angle.
  11. Have you set it so that it is a 'Sliding' door and not a 'Revolving' door in the editor?
  12. I'll try for you Believe he headed over to the re-boot of the West Midlands Mod.
  13. 1) If I get the time to do a vehicle quickly then it's a possibility 2) New. 3 & 4) Just want to say to everyone that I won't be answering any questions on the new mod - On here or via PM.
  14. 1) I don't think I would be able to just go. Not only would it be on my conscience but I'd be chased up all over the place Like not be able to disappear, I don't think I can just leave the mod completely unfinished, especially when I have finished stuff just sitting there. 2) I do not know how close to release I will post about it but it will be easier to be about to work on it without also having to deal with PR. 3) I'll leave it to him if he wanted
  15. Announcement This could be a good announcement or a bad one, all depends on how you look at it - So I hope you take the time to read and understand it. I don't think anyone here could truthfully say they haven't noticed a lack of updates, posts, pictures and videos. There are actually many reasons behind this as I will now explain. For those who don't know, this topic was opened mid July last year (18th July 2014) and with no doubt started getting popular pretty quickly (As many new UK mods do). Nearly a year of development later, the Alpha release came out and many of you did and still are enjoying it. After that I continued showing development including new police personnel and BTP vehicles, now however there has been a serious lack of such posts. What are the reasons for this? Putting it simply, I can't find it in me to work on the mod. From a few months after the start of the topic all the way through to release I was spending countless hours a day, everyday, working on it. It gets tiring and I don't have any motivation left for it. Now at the beginning I said that this could be a good announcement, however you are most likely looking back trying to find anything I have just said that is good. While this modification has died (From the beginning I had thoughts of it just being a test or trial mod, which I guess it has evidently become), I have been able to give life to a new one. Now you can ask 'how do I know this one will get anywhere and that you will stick with it'? Well here's my answer to that: What took me about 4 months to do for Kent Mod took me (And the person helping me) just one month for this mod. I am spending reasonable hours on it, getting work done, creating brand new features, making it look and play good but not getting burned out. I can use the skills I have acquired through Kent Mod and I am learning more. I am enjoying it. I will most likely not announce this modification until it is close to a release date, however I can say, yes it is a UK Modification. There are lots of great things planned for it and I can't wait for it to be enjoyed by you all. The map update along with BTP and the personnel I created after the release will still be completed and uploaded. When that update is out, if people decided to add in station parking or make the call-out menu I will happily patch it in Thank you to all of those who have shown their support for the mod, I hope to not disappoint in the future! Topic will be left open.
  16. To add to Newfoundking - If you cannot buy it from amazon because of regional issues, you can buy it on Steam.
  17. If I understand correctly, you want to be able to send vehicles back to a Police Station for the prisoners to be dropped off at custody? This is already done using the 'To Police Station' script from the LA mod. The vehicle parks at the spaces you designate in the editor and then lets the prisoner out to go into the station. Adding the bit for the Officers to get out should also be fairly easy, my advice is to look at the 'Empty Car' script for reference.
  18. Nah, a lot of people miss it! If you mean taking them from one mod to another, this is pretty simple. Just copy and paste the model, texture and prototype file (If you want it as a new person and not to replace a current one, in which case you just need the model and texture) over. Then assign everything in the editor.
  19. Top of the site is a button that says 'Tutorials'.
  20. Did you leave in the Specs file with only the one incident?
