  1. I have a question about the mod: So, when I play some of the missions, I have access to a lot more New York vehicles than when I play freeplay, such as the Impala, the NYPD SUV, etc. Is there any way to bring these vehicles to freeplay?
  2. I am genuinely relieved that no one has voted "yes" so far.
  3. Censored for those of us easily offended by adult situations: It ended up it was the woman who was injured, she fell backwards onto a wine glass. Said the responding officer: "No ma'am, no one's being arrested, but you may be the butt of many jokes."
  4. Yeah, detectors and jammers are two different things. Jammers are illegal on a federal level.
  5. I had a call back in July. Some car washing service had picked up a brand new Nissan Rogue for a buyer. They were going to get it cleaned before they delivered it to him. They got broadsided pulling out of the dealership lot. Only injury was the driver of the Rogue. He was complaining that he had neck pain, and was a larger fellow... long story short, they couldn't take him out through the door without moving his neck, so the rescue squad cut the entire roof off of a brand new Nissan Rogue. That was a fun day.
  6. I absolutely love the fact that the 3 different patrol routes actually cover three different parts of the city. I also LOVE the new chase/takedown feature. Makes the mission "Raid in station district" so much cooler.
  7. This bar, with the two inner red and blue rotators replaced with strobes: It clears traffic like no other.
  8. No, it would not be possible. When the directional lights are enabled, the game spawns an invisible "redirect" object behind the police car. I believe this object cannot be moved.
  9. I know, I found a video on YouTube before I posted which showed a LAFD tiller with 2 or 3 strobes on the side of the cab and the trailer.
  10. I kind of feel like the tiller could use more lights. It's got a lightbar at the front and that little one on the back; maybe a few strobes on the sides?
  11. Looks great! I kinda miss the old Aerodynic lightbar, though.
  12. That looks really good! Keep up the good work.
  13. When I install the mod, there are multiple missing models and ordering at least one of the units to the map causes the game to crash.
  14. I second that! One thing I noticed with the old crown vics is the flash pattern. Most of the LAPD ones I've seen (a select few, but still) have had a flash pattern more akin to this, expect with steady burns on the ends:
  15. Gas Pipe: Light force + another ALS Engine MVA: USAR, 2 patrol cars + appropriate number of ambulances Fire: BLS Engine Active Shooter: Slicktop with SWAT w/ MP5s
  16. You mean we're not a a billion yet!?
  17. Just looked at the pictures on the first page again, and I have to say, the new station 2 looks a-w-e-s-o-m-e.
  18. Did that firefighter connect the truck to the hydrant?
  19. Planes are only pressurized above altitudes of 8,000 feet: once they're on the ground, there is literally no pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the plane. Besides, if you're in a situation where you need to use the jaws of life on a plane, and just by chance the plane's pressurized, whatever situation you're dealing with would have probably broken the airtight seal anyway.
  20. This might just be me - I zoomed all the way in with the camera hack, and it looks like the Equipment truck has FDNY written on the rear cabin doors.
  21. Harford, CT Police Capital of said state: Connecticut.
  22. I've got a quick suggestion: How about replacing the negotiator with a "plainclothes detective" who can arrest, draw his weapon, etc, but can also negotiate?
