  1. You have to install the Los Angeles Mod with the ModInstaller.

    The ModInstaller is included in a patch for Emergency 3.

    So, after you've reinstalled Emergency 3, try to install the Los Angeles Mod (before you install any patch). If you have the US version of Emergency 3 you can install it, because the US version is already patched.

    If the game doesn't 'find' the ModInstaller, you don't have the US version of Emergency 3 and you have to install the latest patch.

    An easy way to find out if you have the US or UK version of the game.

  2. Ok, you're right.

    The Engineer Vehicle won't have a siren.

    LASD, CHP and Unmarked patrol cars are finished.

    They look almost the same as the Em3 version, but I have added antenna's.

    I am working on the last vehicle for my mod:

    LAPD SWAT truck: picture

    This doesn't mean my mod will be ready in a week.

    I have to create 1 script (for units to change clothes) and I need to test everything by myself first. Then I'm going to make a test-version for some (3 or 4) people, so they can test too. I want to make sure v1.0 doesn't have ANY bugs.

    If everything works and there aren't any bugs found v1.0 should be released within a month.

    If you encounter a problem with the patch, run TNT-FIX.REG

    You've runned TNT-FIX.reg too?

    That changes a registry key so you can install the German patch on an English version of the game.

    Where you've bought the game?

    If you've bought it in the US, you don't have to install any patch.

    Because the US version of Emergency 3 is already patched.

    If you have the UK version you have to install the patch.

    Post script here or tell us what the missions objectives are so I/we can create one.

    If the objectives are the exact same one as mission 1 you just need to give all cars, persons, triggers and virtuel objects the same name as the original mission. So, if the wreckage is named 'car01' in the original mission you need to name the car in your mission also car01. If there is one wreckage in the original mission, your mission also has 1 wreckage. The same thing for the injured persons. Just compare with the original mission. It's not very hard.

  5. not true is from my own mission standards and just created a mission and it was 16 :-

    BTW for missions I have a nice proggie for my own to make them and it makes the mission scripts fully automatic and changes all the files nescesary

    Still funny that the redirect names (NAME_VEHICLE_I, NAME_VEHICLE_II and MISSION16_TRANSPORT_VEHICLE) are the exact same as I used for all my missions with that objective. You have explanation for that too?

  6. How do you make smoke and fire and how do you get it to stop.My cars just keep on smoking and for some resion the game will just not end .Thanks for helping me out I am just trying to learn .

    To start a fire:

    Place object on map, select it, click properties, you change fireobjects and more stuff there.

    About the smoke. The smoke of the smoking car in mission 1 is scripted. The smoke is added by script, the smoke becomes more intense by script and when you don't 'extinguish' the car, it will explode.

  7. Well I did what you told me the mission will not end .Hum I must have done something wrong  :?No it a new mission it from mission 01 .It is a Traffic Accident with several cars on there way into NY .newmission.jpg.Also can't get that dang smoke out .Thanks for your help guys  ;)

    No, missions won't fail, but I think you are using the original script of missions 1, right?

    To make an injured person:

    Place person on map, select it, click properties, traits, you change health and more stuff there.
