    My question : I have the french version of EM4, i am going to have the german version of EM4 deluxe, but is EM4 Deluxe an expansion or a complete game ?

    Cause if it is an expansion, i am going to have trouble. I also want to know, what can i do to translate the EM4 Deluxe version from German to English or French,? whatever.

    And finaly, is the L.A. Mod compatible with EM4 Deluxe ?

    Emergency 4 Deluxe is German and Standalone; It includes the German version of Emergency 4 + Emergency 4 Deluxe (total of 3 CD's).

    Deluxe is an expansion.

    how much of the game does your game translate ?

    Text -> 100% But not more than 30% is written in correct English.

    Sounds (speech) -> 5% Only the ingame voices like 'Ok', 'On my way' are done. The supervisor, mission briefings aren't done.

  3. Amazing Hoppah!

    Cant wait to try the new version of your mod :)

    One question about commands. Could you make a police unit who can command to get fire, ambu, techs and police to the scene (or atleast a coroners van). (for big events)?

    Will your mod support EM4 Deluxe? There is a freeplay mission there which simulates a murder where you need use search dogs to find the missing person, which then gets into a murder scene, then you need a detective to find the killer, then arrest the killer. It's pretty cool and would be a nice addition to your mod.

    I am not going to change the Em4 Deluxe freeplay map (yet).

    The original freeplay- and multiplayer map will be changed first.

    Then I'll see what I can do for Em4 Deluxe.

    Those 'special' commands will be for units like supervisors and fire chiefs.

  4. I love the feature of police cruisers patrolling the city. I have 3 questions pertaining to it:

    Do they patrol on a set path made by the game, on a set path made by you, or do they patrol in random directions?

    Will they remain in the city and not go off the map?

    Do they obey traffic signals like the civilian vehicles or do they bypass them like every emergency vehicle does?

    They are following a path, and because they are still a 'squad' vehicle, they will bypass the traffic signals. But that is not very disturbing.

    Edit:

    There were some questions about a garage entrance.

    There is a back entrance to a garage (it's not an open_house).

    Vehicles will enter the map from there.

    The dog is not a police dog. I forgot to edit the path of the dog, so they're walking through the parking lot now.

  5. The Police station is finished!

    All patrol cars (and the police helicopter) have a command to go to the police station to drop their transports (detainees) off.

    The police station has 3 parking spaces in front of the building. Patrol cars can park there with the "To police station" command.

    And I have alot of other new information.

    I have made a "Patrol the city" command for patrol cars.

    Patrol cars can make a cruise trough the city without lights and sirens on.

    I have also made a command for police officers. They can call for backup (or assistance).

    A patrol car which is on patrol OR parked at the police station will respond and drive to the officer with sirens and lights.

  6. You said you have problems when loading mission 2, but your logfile says something about freeplay.

    Sometimes, Emergency 3 has problems with loading missions after freeplay (and v.v.).

    So, restart Emergency 3 and load mission 2.

  7. :6: so i hate to be the one to ask this and look like a total n00b... has anyone done a walkthrough on the LA- only missions? I'm having difficulties.... i.e. the second Experimental aircraft crash mission (L.A. only) I can't seem to get the fires out fast enough and either lose or, as I just finished playing, get a 23% with a time of over half an hour(bad), personal injuries(bad, but none of my units, all soldiers on the base), and property(bad, due to fires spreading out of control). If none have been made yet, I have been able to get 100% on some of the missions and would be more than happy to contribute to said LA mission walkthrough.

    I appreciate everything you guys do, and especialy all the help, seeing as I can't do half of it :P

    Propably, the adjustments to calculate your score aren't right. This is quite difficult to make perfect.

    I have some doubts about your idea,

    1. It's not the intention that we are going to make this mission. I told you that I can help you with the script for the mission. That's all.

    2. What's your part in creating this mission when you already have a map and when I have made the mission script?

    3. I am confused of how you want to release this. As you should know I am not going to release new versions of the LA mod for Emergency 3 anymore. I thought you wanted to create your own mission(pack) with the Ford Crown Victoria from my mod, but I am not certain of what you want.

    AND

    The LA Mod for Emergency 3 already has a bank robbery.
