sorry, but all coroner vehicles are apposed to have all yellow lights so they can't go code 3. The two trucks that have red lights in the pictures are the Special Operations team in which is used if they need to get to an incident were there is a lot of bodies and can't wait for the normal vans to get there i.e. train wrecks, earthquake, terrorist attack, etc. Also the detectives want all the time they can get at the scene of a crime before the coroner van comes to pick up the body. this is the main reason why all coroner vehicles have yellow lights.

OK guys or gals which is better the FDNY or LAFD please state why you think which one is better. I will start Personally I think LAFD is better because they could put in a week or more at one fire any where in the state. plus EMS is the same for both LAFD & LACoFD and they both have a the same Spec ops team. Spec ops is the USAR team that goes to disaster around the world.

The one in the pic is smaller than the the city's but the ones up in North County are ------- huge. can fill up 6 choppers before having to find a hydrant. also 73's has a Lz across the street that can only hold 2 choppers at a time. so thats why this one is smaller
