  1. if you ask, i am happy to show. I have been working on something a little different and old school. the three stations work, mostly. when the freeplay starts all 11 front gates open, spawn vehicles and staff vehicles. i am having a little problem with the tofs script but i have only really been hitting it hard maybe 5 days. it took about 3 days to get most of the problems and the fs and fs start scripts right. i had thought about breaking the fs return script into 3 seperate scripts but i was trying to be stuperman and make them all one. still toying with that idea. for all you non believers (there always is) i left the map open for the screen shots.   2. Dyson's mod isnt installed with the mod installer. its a cut and paste over a original non moded LA Mod 2.0
  3. never mind. I am a idiot. I just needed to look at it without blinking. FIXED
  4. the 911 fr game itself needs NO updates. uninstall it, EVERYTHING. install 911 fr and then install la mod 2.0 with the two updates and run it, see what you get.
  5. you could wait for the next installment with the new map, i dont think they are using this map anymore.
  6. Everything on the scripts look good to me. I dont see any reason for this but it happened and i cant get it to stop. The ambulance that is messed up is sopposed to be in FS2 but it appears in FS1 as seen below. I can make the ambulance not spawn and the problem is solved but as soon as i set that ambulance back up in any way it is back to this.   7. i have a working third station. i just need to fine tune the returnto script. i have mine integrated with the firestation and firestation start scripts. i can call units into all 3 stations, in the begining they all rais the front doors and sound alarm to man units, they also have a working show/hide roof as well as units returning to station get out and go inside. just needs some fine tunes.

  10. what if you cant find them, lol. sounds like you play this mod a lot. i dont get any of it so i just dont play it. sounds like fun though. would you make some videos, lol.
  11. I have a somewhat functional third firestation. just need to ice down some things.

  12. the best thing for screens is fraps. its free and its here. you can also take 30 sec videos with the free version.
  13. thinking about moding the original freeplay map of LA Mod, what do you people out there think?

  14. is this a update or a standalone download?
  15. the original download is on pg 10 3rd post from the bottom. 1st update is on pg 12 8th post from the top. 2nd update is on top of pg 13. a translation by Mr_Kaizer is on pg 16 5th post from the top. 3rd update is on pg 16 7th post from the top. i think that is all, it would be nice for them to be centralized but o well.

  17. open your editor and load the la mod. when it loads load the la mod freeplay map. when that loads hit f5 and search for the fs_ladder and fs_hazmat. change them as needed and save the map. insert scripts in script/command and overright what is there. test and let me know. i dont have a la mod in my inventory that is close to being regular.
  18. i bet if you seperate the stations they would work correctly, just a opinion. been trying and ill let you know how it goes.
  19. in the editor you need to replace the fs_ladder in fs1 to fs_tiller. then replace the fs_hazmat in fs2 to fs_ladder. i dont know about the battalion scripts but i can give you the fsstart, fs and tofs scripts, ill get them set up and send post them when they load up.   20. there is a block on the bottom of the screen that you can check, something like right angels or something. click that and just turn it, it will keep it at right angles, 45, 90 and so on
  21. for that you are going to need to change some stuff in the editor as well as some of the scripts. if you do the editor work i can help you with the scripts.

  23. the LA Mod already has a US&R and engines, but a new brush (remake of the HES) would look nice. the helo, maybe to bring FF to scene but i dont know about having it drop water, but that would be cool.
  24. try just clicking on a FF with nothing in his hands then just click on the peice you want picked up, in mine it is the default "no click" and the FF picks up whatever i layed down. i try to use the same FF to pick up that i had to put it down.
