There reskins of NNICOs Crown Vic he released. The light bars and push bumpers were chopped off Hoppahs models by me and applied to NNICOs CV by me. There are new models planned though and 2 of them should be about done. Helljumper said Quint 9 was nearly done last weekend and he said he would do one other model as well. The other model, Engine 51, well I have no idea whats going on with that right now as it's been "almost done" for some time now. Also need to get the lights updated to match the new models. Conroy has started on this and gotten one done already. Slowly but surely everything is coming together. -
I hate png, even on a 6mbps connection they take ages to load. Why not use jpg? They load much faster especially for those with slow connections?

What programs are recommended to edit .V30 and .dds?

Personally I use Photoshop CS5, but used photoshop 7 before that. I hated CS1-4, but 5 is another story! I love it! For v3o and scripts nothing beats Notepad2 imo. -

Thanks guy. Surprisingly I was able to get 2 more done today, the K-9 CV which was very quick to do since it just needed the K-9 lettering and unit number changes. Also I was ble to get the LAAP Patrol car nearly complete: Only thing it lacks is text on the rear fender and pin striping down the doors. The only one left to do is the Port Police car on the police side and the EMS Supervisor on the Medical side. -

I suppose the reason for calling the ALS Engine is more back up or more medical man power.

If you dont mind some feedback on the skin for the suv, try lowering the luminescence, if that possible with your editing program. The lights should look like there tucked inside the windows. Is there still a bug with the USCG Truck? If so what is it?

Who knows for sure, but my guess he just doesnt have a clue what hes doing, or maybe he thinks you have to pay for rapidshare,etc, or well who knows.

Hey Jon, if you want to do this, its certainly possible, but the problem is you loose the function of using it for aerial rescue. Anyways, I havent investigated it much, but apparently from the looks of it, the tiller has an invisible basket listed under super structures. This would be needed for it to work like the tiller. If you need more help let me know.

First the topic title: And as note, putting please help in the title is kind of pointless. Its a help section, so that goes with out saying and doesnt get you a response any quicker. Second thing is, So if the submod has a topic, keep it in the topic. Third, the link to the submod doesnt work, but just post your question in that thread. The author is more likley to see if that way.

The LABattalionChief.script would be a good place to start, and then you need to add that command to the BC, however you might have to sacrifice a command as the game only allows co many commands per person.

I agree not everything has to be 100% realistic but I try to stay pretty close to real life. Nope, Im not a complete asshole Well in Winterberg, its just a detective that checks the body. Now here is how it works in LA. In LA, if fire is called for a medic run, fire will request police if theres a death. I am going to assume that it would be a detective that makes the call weather the coroner/medical examiner are needed or not.If the death was a result of natural causes, the coroner is called unless the person happened to see there doctor with in the past 72 hours. In that case the detective makes the report, and the funeral home will pick up the body in the hearse.

So are you trying to new units(new models or reskins) to the mod or simply not have to purchase so many units? If you dont want to purchase more units, open specs/freeplaybase.xml and change the count to a higher number. From: <vehicle prototype="mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/01 LA Ambulance/large_rescue_ambulance.e4p" count="1" /> To: <vehicle prototype="mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/01 LA Ambulance/large_rescue_ambulance.e4p" count="5" /> Not sure there is a max but i cant see why would need a huge huge number of units.
