  1. yes your right some of the drivers are crazy! i almost hit the side of an overpass thanks to them.at least im one less crazy on the roads of Quebec

    And a HUGE thank-you for that :P hehe Is there a part of Montreal that has more polite people than downtown, or, even just fewer people period? :P

  2. About the Barricade, I'm POSITIVE the LAPD SWAT SUV (AUS) has it, the LAPD SUV, SWAT Heavy Rescue, SWAT Rescue 2 and 3 for SURE... I think both FBI SUV and Command Post have them... as does the ATF NRU and MCP, and Border Patrol SUV from the AUS... Might be wrong though...

    And the Stabalize Command can be given to ANY personnel in the Editor... all my Police, Fire and EMS have at LEAST the Stabalize command :)

    A 3rd Alarm Fire in Buffalo, New York

    I heven't gotten a good address on the call, its somewhere in the Auburn/Lafeyett/Grant/Greenwood area, and seems to be multiple buildings.

    UPDATED THE ALARMS, but still incomplete. However, they are just about an hour in (approx. 55 minutes), and there was a second Structure fire in Engine 21's District. That ended up being an auto fire. The first (and only) update from Command regarding the building(s) involved was prior to the request of the 2nd Alarm, and was that it was a 150' by 75' two-and-a-half Wood Frame Garage attached to a large two-and-a-half Wood Frame Dwelling, and the Garage appears to be Commercial. There's heavy smoke visible from my house (In HEAVY snow, at night, about a mile away). 60 minute mark at 01:32. Good portion of the building has collapsed, aerial pipes and many 2 1/2" lines in operation, going to pick up any companies they can.

  4. We had 2 medicals yesterday, one VSA, and one unconsious person at a Bingo Hall. Both cases ended up being transported out ouf town with 2 fire fighters on board the Ambulance. Our Emergency Room in Fort Erie was shut down in Dec. due to a "lack of need." Now, this is really screwing the taxpayers of Fort Erie, because now a Fire Truck has to be taken out of service to follow the ambulance 20 minutes up the highway at 100km/h to pick up the two fire fighters. Good lord I hate the government in my area right now.......

  6. After travelling across Quebec yesterday and Tuesday to pick up a friend in Sydney, NS, I really learned to dislike Montreal Drivers. From what I saw, there is no courtesy there at all. Considering we (the three from Ontario) were the only ones who stopped to help at a roll-over accident on the East side of Montreal, I was pretty upset... But, nonetheless, as long as the people in game don't act as agressive and rude as the people I've encountered, I'm still looking forward to this mod. Also, please don't take this as hate-mail (or whatever) against Montreal, or all of Quebec for that matter, I'm just saying from what I saw, I was pretty disappointed. If anyone can shed light on where a Better part of Montreal may be, feel free to share :P:)

  7. Yesterday, around 0900, we had a second alarm structure fire. I was a small, one storey, wood frame single-family dwelling, but it was pumping extremely heavy smoke, so the guys went deffensive on it. Apparently, just after I left (went to the Boat Show in Toronto), The rear step-down of the roof collapsed, and the house took off. It was a pretty windy day, with a large, two storey brick next to it, creating odd wind patterns. I kept blowing smoke down on the fire fighters between the fire building and the exposure on the 4 side. It was rather intense. It was the third (or fourth) call for our new Pump, and it was first-due :D Finally get 'er christened.

    On the down side, apparently (although no one was home), there was a fatality. The family lost their German Shepard dog. I haven't seen the house since yesterday in the middle-stages of the suppression, but, I guess its a write-off.

XX is a number, can't remember which it is, and I dont know if its EQUIP, or EQUIPMENT... one of the 2... its called "REDIRECT SCOOP", "SCOOP", or "TRAFFIC SCOOP"... one of the three lol... sorry I can't pin-point it, but thats where it is.. in LA Equipment under Objects, and has "Scoop" in the name :D

  9. The sniper issue isnt solved yet i tried getting a tac vest and with bought tac vest but it isnt working i am completing blind now dont know what to do now

    This actually isn't an issue. The FBI with the Tac Vest, when equipped with the PSG-1 Sniper Rifle, kneels when you tell him to aim. Only when you click an object to shoot does he lay down. Also, once he has laid down, he stays laying until he is told to stop aiming. I was confused about this as well, but, when kneeling, have the agent shoot something, like a car, near the area you want him to aim at :) Hope this helps :D

  10. Your best bet, in my opinion, would be to add the USCG Jayhawk (and Dauphin, if you've got it) to every mission. Do this by copying the mission numbers from a vehicle thats in EVERY mission (LAPD Patrol Car, ALS or BLS Ambulance, ALS or BLS Engine) into the mission numbers of the Jayhawk (and Dauphin) as well as the USCG Rescue Worker. Copy the following line into the unit.xml of units\vehicles\TEC\120rescuehelicopter, units\vehicles\TEC\125dolphin, and units\personnel\TEC\020uscgrescue:

    <missions value="1 2 3 4 13 15 9 8 5 17 12 14 7 19 10 6 18 16 11 20 24 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35">

    make sure its aligned properly (hit tab in front of the " < ") with the rest of the script.

    To edit the unit.xml(s), simply right click on the unit.xml icon, and left click EDIT from the menu. That will open the .xml file with wordpad for your editing pleasure. Take a look around that, its pretty self-explanitory. hope that helps :D

  12. What kinda truck did you guys get?

    Lifeflight was called out the other night. Victim crashed a 4 wheeler and it rolled on top of him several times. Cant recall his stats but it was bad from the sounds of it. He had a trach(sp?), bruised ribs, he was unconscious on arrival, and woke up in flight and became combative so he had to be sedated.

    Well, this is our new Rescues, 3 and 6 have these, 1 and 4 are similar, but older. Pump 2 is very similar to Pump 4 (the only differance is Pump 2 has 2 additional side scene lights. You can see Pump 4 on FEFD Station 2's website
