Another problem (not really a bug):Theres no stair to the BelleAir airplane at the airport, but the door is open (standard thing i guess) so you cant get into the airplane to fight a fire (have that problem now) and if you get a criminal man in there (dont know if that would happen on your map) then you cant do anything, so it would be nice if you could find some stairs for the plane
Why did I never had them event.. I wanteded for solong!! .. but to the point, a arial should work, but I will also at a stair.
There should also be people inside, so hartattack and criminal is possible
Don't getting anymore events is a know problem, but I really don't have any idea how to fix that a the moment

Just played the new Deluxe map - great job!!The one thing I now will take into account when playing however is never to redirect traffic in your map. The freeway really messes things up because most of the traffic originates from the freeway, so if you redirect it they will try and drive back down the one way off ramp causing a massive traffic backlog. The other cause of traffic redirection chaos is the construction zones - traffic will try and drive back through and inevitably mess it all up.
Fire trucks from Station 1 trying to cross the river where there are no bridges is also a problem. Trucks from Station 2 also try and find interesting ways to reach the top of the map.
Other than these, its a great change that I will enjoy playing.
Redirecting traffic is a know bug > see start post. (and is fixed in 1.1)
The river will cause some problems sometimes, also a problem that I don't know how to fix for now. The Firestation will be placed at the other side of the trainstation.
Ok,I have two questions.Why isn't my new freeplay map, that i downloaded not like everybody elses!!!! and no offence ( the person who made this "submod" ), the way that the hospital and police station is place well is quite well not good? and the way my map is, that everything is like a neutral disaister!!!!!!!!!!!!!p.s, srry for bad grammar and english i fail in englishIf you don't like it, or you want the hostital and police station somewhere else: MAKE YOUR OWN MAP!! I placed them there and they will stay there. And the other problem, read / search the topic. It is anwserd for 5 times now.

that was the orgininal idea / setup. I made the "parking" place there . But unfortunally I wasn't able to let the police cars parking there nice and staight so I gave it up and made the parking place at the side of the police station...
Maybe something for later... you never know

i play with 911 FR and it was messed till i downloaded both maps and now its fine.
few bugs:
1. i have small boxes says missing modules
2. suicide attempt drowning cant find the victim in water only see him on mini map
I need a screenshot of the suicide drowning. (screenshot with the minimap on it) Otherwise I don't know where the problem is. Both bugs are listed know in the startpost.

After playing for a few hours today and yesterday, I have found some bugs.
I don't seem to get any traffic accidents, bomb threat, and fires (I do get Car fires).
Sometimes the Police cars and Ambulances stops, it's the same three to four places every time.
Some suicide attempts that have jumped into the water, hangs up by the bridge/pier, divers can't get them, I have to use Police officers to get them off.
It's a very good map, and it will be perfect with the bugs fixed, keep up the good work.
Can you guys plz make screenshot of this kind of bugs. Now I don't know where this happend, so I can solve the problems.
About the accidents, I don't have an anwser for that.. ( yet )

I am getting sick of it to. Reading is hard, don't they teach it anymore at school?? It is just that people are lazy these days, why search, why think, why read? > Asking is so much easier...
little bit offtopic: I have 150 users at my work that I support (I am a IT Specialist). Today I asked 50 of them only to logoff and logon. Gues how many responded to that question.....

Bug: Without EM4 Deluxe, you can't have the object near the army base entrance. So you don't know what it is nor what it does. Only a big square with a text on it.

Yeah, I had a problem with the map using another map's textures. So, I downloaded both the Deluxe Map and the regular freeplay map. That solved my the problem for me. Nice work, Wood.

If your take suggestion for changes to the map I have a few for you to consider.
First thing is at fire station 1 is remove the wall directly out in front of the roll up doors and move the flags to the grass by the BC SUV. This would just make dispatching the light force faster on my game at least the trucks sometime try to go out the same gap.
The engines should go out of the right gap and the ladder, USAR and ambu of the left. They have different streetpaths infront of them, but I will look at it.
Second I would open the wall next to the main entrance to the hospital so the ambulance can kinda flow through hospital. So the Ambulances would come in the front and go out the side. This would also be better for when there is a call at the hospital and you have other ambulance inbound, so he parking lot isn't jammed up.
Good point, I will consider this one.
Third and this one's kinda big is move the second fire station to the north side of the train station. I noticed that when I dispatched the BLS to the villa area it went the a weird way around, it took just as long for the USAR truck. This way it might just go down the street in front of the police station.
I have also seen that happen before. I will consider this one also. For the last 2 I need to redraw/modify the map witch is alot of work..

Ontopic: About the police station. Give me some good reasons why.
mine reasons for the location:
- You have patrolling vehicles that can respond fast enough
- In the city center isn't room enough
- in the orginal LAMOD deluxe freeplay map was it also located on the edge
- It can respond fast to te airport and downtown city, ok not to the harbor or camp side, but you have to make choices
- I love it there
- You have patrolling vehicles that can respond fast enough

Would it be possible to have different units patrolling different areas. such as having the port police patrolling the harbour, and having the CHP patrol the large highway.
I know that it is about patrol paths. Or is it like the lights where you only can have one special light on one unit, whereas path wise, the police cars can only share path but not have different for some units.

One problem that I had where that I only got 3 calls, after I cleared the three calls, I didn't get any, I tried to reistall the mod, and that worked, could it have something to do about that I edited the fp_params_endless.xml and fp_params_endless_d.xml?
I understand your idea. It will have to be a combination of adding things to the freeplay map and change the behavior of the patrolling vehicles. It is a good idea in mine opion, but not something that is easy to realize.
About the 3 calls.. I happend to me also sometimes. It looks like an event is triggerd or not finished. But it's unclear at the moment where the problem is.
I didn't gave him permission to change scripts and such.It's ok to talk about ideas here, but w00d only has permission to work on that map so far.
Don't worry Hoppah, I won't touch the scripts. But maybe we can discuss later some of the ideas. But not now First things firsts.
About the map, indeed itsn't 100% completed yet, but maybe one day it will be. I hate learning so I allready fixed some issues, but still have to test it. I hope for a new release around the weekend.

if you have the old buildings then you have to replace the freeplay.e4m or the dfreeplay.e4m file with the one from the zip file.

Yeah i am, I will only at the reported bugs to the list and won't fix anything before thursday nigth / friday night.
It's very pretty and everything, but nothing actually happens.Well that's up to the game it self and has nothing todo with the map. You can set the difficulty harder if you have nothing to do.
About the ambulance parking, I will check it out ( I know they are not parking perfectly, but that never bother me personally. But I will try to fix it )

The mod works great. The patrolling function of the police cars tend to get caught here and there, but so far, everything else has been smooth.
plz make a screenshot when the vehicle gets stuck. This is "easy" to fix for me in an later version.
Quick question. Can we use the original LA Mod map as the original map, but replace the Deluxe LA Mod map with this replacement deluxe map?Yeah you should be able to do that with the deluxe version. For the deluxe version you only need to download New deluxe freeplay map and you can leaf the otherone untouched.
anyone else having problems with the map where you send a police car with a suspect to the station and the suspect just stands in the parking lot and dose not go into the police station ending that call?Never seen that happen, they only standing there if you send the patrol car immediately out again. So you have to wait untill the suspect is inside the station.

i had 2 vehicles driving the wrong way at the road works, couldnt get them to turn around so shot them and used the tow trucks to remove them, i had the same bug when i tried to redirect vehicles but i let my officer get closer to the vehicle and redirect each vehicle and that "fixed" the bug
With roadwork? the one on the highway, it happend to me one time only, and where the verhicles came from.. now idea...
so people playing 911FR need both the deluxe and regular versions to use the map, or just the 911FR version?Hmm. The ground texture is real fucked up. It is like rock and grass with SOME roads. Not a good places...

The texture is the bad one. I have EM4 1.3.
I also have screens.
unfortunally you need to download both files at the moment for the normal version only. I will fix this in the next version of this submod.

Well normally not, if you don't have the deluxe version then the normal one should be enought and offcourse if you have EM4 deluxe then you only need to download the new deluxe freeplay map.. But those two above you needed both.. so try it out

Well I just testen the deluxe version, removed my maps and installed the zip file, and deluxe works.
Weird.. also the normal map works fine here...

I noticed the problem with the square to, I will fix it in 1.1.
And about the patrol paths, indeed it's a problem and I will also look at it just as the spawnpoints.
