  1. Its not really a competition, every mod maker just does their personal best, anyone who makes a mod is doing something great, as a lot of people don't even get past the talking about what mod to make stage.

I have asked for suggestions from people, and had been given a few for different units in the mod. But on the whole, I think people are just looking forward to playing British mods, Coastal Rescue & London Mod. :12:

Yes, Its not competition. But it's always good to aim higher than another Mod.

I might take some suggestions. But, what I always looking for is raw data on a idea that's fresh.

People also wish other mods become equal or greater than.... we know who's mod.

  2. Lately I got a friendly letter from a Fan who loves "LA Mod". He tells me that he is looking forward to see "Tokyo Mod".

Then he gave me a 10 point list in how to make the Mod better. Most the issues he tells me was how LA Mod has it's problems and to get rid of these problems in Tokyo Mod. Looks like some one wants Tokyo Mod to be better than LA Mod. :loldev:

I may not be to only person from a Mod Group who gets one of these letters. I'm not upset about this letter and I enjoy it a little.

Maybe because I don't get upset. Because I don't get 100 pms a day like Hoppah does.

Surely you guys working on mods and get letters in making your mod better than another mod?

Was there any thing you like about these letters? Funny stories?

  3. Ok so i went down and applied today and noticed they have a different light bar

Most services are using LED now days. It's cheaper and hardly needs replaced.

LED are brighter than older light bars. But there might be a few things that makes them seem dim.

One of these is bright sun light.

Also I study video cameras... They have a problem with LEDs and can't always capture it's light source as a human eye.

  4. Bad driving in America is linked to our teen and young adults. They may pass the driving test and that the test could lean to passing with a low score in some states. These drivers are not bright at all with the high tech gear they carry and use while driving. Being a young age... they do the car goofing around games and drinking while driving. Americans focus must be so bad that we have 40,000 around deaths a year.

We may not rank first. But, out of the Modern Nations with sames laws and driving codes... US might rank the worst out of all of them. No wonder many nations won't allow Americans to use their driving license. But if our driving age was raised to a 18 ~ 20 and buff up our driving schools. We would cut most of our totals of bad driving down.

Hell, I get almost roll over by cars a lot when crossing the road. No wonder people wear a traffic vest while on a bicycle in the US.

  5. one

    two

    three

    four

    five

    six

    And possibly three more

Also there's a video of one crashing and overturning, but it was stolen, so it doesn't really count.

2nd point would be by Companies and Departments. Their rate of model that been in a crash.

3rd point is always the drivers. Did their system of driving cause the crash. Do they follow driving training.

Lastly safer could mean if the vehicle not totaled or people in the crash are alive.

Half of the ambulances look like they can be easy repair.

  6. Little OT

    Chino-Hills-CA013008.jpg

    AMR fail

That's why bigger and wider are better :>

That's not a Dodge Sprinter.... It's one of those Ford vans.

You can find one crash ambulance from any model or nation. Safer does not means crash proof or not one will crash. It means less than before,

I dare some one try to find 10 crash ambulances of a model. If you do? Then that model could have problems in being safe.

  7. That is a issue that currently be looked into and it is not like Japan is the only nation that rejects patients from hospitals. ERs in the big US cities had lost patients for not rejecting... But lacking in staff to take care patient at hospital. If a hospital in Japan or any other nation rejects patients to go to their hospital. They have a better chance to go to another hospital and get the care. Than just wait in the ER room for medical staff.

The most important thing with this web article. That their is no active source from any news media to this article. The web article could be false.

  8. here ya go

    thats me in green. lol

We have two of those Isuzu ELF Nkr pumpers right now and one Mitsubishi canter. The one I drove in that pic oroginally had osaka sirens as well as the osaka light bar I believe. it had that little yellow taxi looking light too. lol

We're waiting on a delivery for a newer hino, newer canter and an isuzu giga water tender.

That looks like a Mini Pumper. We will have those in the Mod. But we did not pick the models yet.

Sadly, Newer and common models are on the top of the list.

  9. any chance of the older ElF NKR pumpers making it into the game? :D

I drive an older one. Had an osaka siren originally. lol

ha ha, I don't know what pumper you are talking about. Show me a picture.

If you know a pumper of this model in active service in Tokyo. I will try to get it in the Mod some day.

  10. Any way. The main point is that most nations are buying vans and mostly only editing the roof frame to be taller. Because it cheaper and fast to mod.

The Standard US Ambulance with a huge rear cargo bay. May cost more to mod and build the frame.

  11. Maybe some ideas are coming from Asia. Those Japanese manufactures came up a few things themselves.

They take Normal Factory Vans and mod them very easy.

Making them taller to stand in is always the first thing to do. Also they might be the only ambulances with rear hatch back door.

They might not do a a pretty paint job for one. That maybe because they want the money in equipment and trained personnel.

  12. Well i have seen them plenty try living in a big city the station down the road has one we also have the red stobe on traffic lights at busy intersections when an engine/ambulance approches ALL lights turn red for 3 min.

Well my point is that... Is this traffic light thing is for fun or making it being a official add-on to another mod?

Also, I would do research on these lights for ant realism.
