Hoppah! Where can I get one of those CD's? I've been a little to happy recently, so I think I might need some of your "you suck"

I think posting a link to your blog or whatever here is fine, seeing as the whole point of this is for people to share if they write or not...

I don't have a blog, blogging is going on and writing about your life.. I don't really do that, I just go on and write what I call journals, but it's little sections of something to do with life.. I post it online for people I know to read.. Out of my audience of about 500+ friends, they all seem to like it.. It started off as a dream, so I made it up in my head when I was awake like I was watching a movie Actually what happened was I released ten chapters here, then I put in another 3 or 4 plus a bunch more in each chapter, and released it after some work with a friend in Ohio... Or maybe somewhere else in the States.. Anyways, I cancelled it because I want to rewrite it a good bit more.. I think I'm going to add even more meat to the book. I plan on having it done for the new year, so I'm gonna put in a bunch of work tomorrow and maybe I'll finish it by then, then it's just a bit of editing from myself and my editor if I can get a hold of her, then I'll release it.

Oh hai guys.. I was just watchin this thread since the beginning and it looks like a really good game.. how come I haven't seen any screenshots yet? There must be a site for it or something... Do we have to ask for the DL link? Can I have mine? PLEASE!

As some of you know, the older members mainly, I started writing a book a year or two ago, well the first 10 chapters from the first draft ever was put here.. I have since done 7 drafts with an editor I found on another site, and I'm going to be doing a final draft before I put it out as my first novel. Now aside from this, I also write on a more casual basis. I do a daily journal of things that go through my head.. Now apparently they are good, I never really thought it, but people have been pushing me to do it as a book, instead of just an online daily journal. I'm just wondering who else here is a writer, and if you've written anything that's been published and what-not.. You may also ask questions about my writing of course

Missing prototype, you my friend are missing a prototype for whatever car it is, maybe you can give us a screen so we can see what you're missing I think he disabled it because the building for that is not on the map

There are weird errors occasionally.. Did you click ignore or retry and continue? Sometimes weird stuff with happen with every script and there will be an error that can just be ignored or tried again.. Happens with me a few times a month

I'd say with a department that large, replacements are bought every single year at least once.

When the new map came out, Hoppah had a good few easter eggs, like moderators and helpers with the mod, like MikesPhotos, Voodoo and the like throughout the city... (I'm not there however!) There are also a few other things like that, and the graffiti. Hoppah likes to include a bit of fun in his mod, so he has little things like that spattered throughout... The general is Hoppah himself, check the name bar And ever notice how the BC is named Mike, that's because the two Mike's that have helped between modelling and knowledge for the LA mod. There's all kinds of little tidbits you can find..

Not sure if anyone has had this problem, it only happened once so far, I've tried twice with the CG drop function.. One time he went in the water and could swim, the second time on the oil rig mission he hit the water and started walking.. Maybe I just had Jesus in a diver suit.. I knew LAFD was good, but Jesus? Maybe MikesPhotos can update us on the chances of Jesus jumping from a helicopter with the LAFD Also, the stupid mission problem is happening again, meaning that my wonderful LA missions have disappeared.. I played the Bus bomb one, went out for some turkey dinner, when I turned on Em4 deluxe again, it was gone.. Strange thing is I bet the mission, like the last tow truck left, then I just went to hauptmenu( I use deluxe, so that means main menu for those confused ) and then went back to windows, clicked nothing else, but there is just the Emergency 4 missions now..

I don't think it's possible to stop them.. So its not meant, just not stoppable.. One thing I noticed.. On the deluze missing person, when you check a body to see if they are dead, and the get covered, the FBI agent won't check the body now...

I'm Mr. Observant, so I notice all.. I can point out how each one fails a little more probably, just I don't care enough

Thing is, even our most talented scripters on this site, they probably couldn't pull a game together straight from the ground up and they'll admit it. To convince a game company to pull it together is even harder... You need first to convince them that there is a BIG BIG BIG group willing to pay for it. In norway yes, in Canada, (even here) we've still got 3.5 hours left.. However, merry early Christmas (or other equivalent stressful, money spending holiday)

That will happen occasionally, and as far as anyone knows it cannot be fixed, so you just have to shoot the car, put it out and tow it.

LA mod submods are for LA ONLY.. One more person says anything about making a submod with the LA mod for another city, I'm warning them no notice, just a warning.. People really need to grasp these things

Froze up.. You do know that it takes a few minutes to load up the mod right? I'd suggest clicking load, then go and make hot chocolate or something... When you come back if it still hasn't loaded then there is a problem

There have been complaints about members being rude.. By no way are they being rude, they are being realistic. People need to accept that things are not as easy as they think, and when they come on the internet, say their ideas, and have someone say that it is more than likely not gonna happen, that's not rude, just realistic. The real world starts here.. If you aren't able to accept that it is highly unlikely you are getting a game made for you, (even if you have a hundred or a thousand people who want it) then get over it, and be prepared to be told a million times. A company before they make a game, want to sell at least enough copies of the game to make a profit as well as pay for everything... Unless a thousand people want to pay a thousand dollars a copy, they will want more people to buy the game. If you made a game, went to them with it, and wanted them to mass produce it, maybe change a few things, you have a mauch better chance then, oohh look, me and my friends want a game like this.. They get thousands of those a year, none of which will become games.

Here's the thing, we cannot get mad at people for doubting a mod will get released, they see many a year attempt and fail. If it happens, then good for you, you proved them wrong, but that is just how things are, you need to be able to handle some criticism. It's the internet, expect it

No it will seldom crash, but the lagging on computers on the lower end will make you want to crash a train in to your system. No joke
