  1. The lightbars in those photos are not the current lightbars that the Port Police use. The new ones are LED as seen in this photo... -d
  2. Ahh I see what you are talking about. Yeah, PBase doesn't allow hotlinking. -d ETA: If you copy the link and paste it into another window it will work. The link did work for me when the post was first put up, but I think PBase saw a bunch of traffic coming from here via the hotlink and blocked the site.
  3. The links for the screenshots work for me in IE and Firefox. -d
  4. Stats on HR56 I for one will give credit to a website when I write about items if I didn't know the facts in my brain already... -d
  5. 1.7 works, just not on your machine. Have you manually deleted the mod files and tried installing it again? -d
  6. weird, it should work on mine then. Oh well. The game still works, just needs a little more interaction on my part. -d
  7. What command line are you using? -d
  8. "D:\911 - First Responders\Em4.exe" -game
  9. The "boxes" look the same size though. You'd have to give up some serious room inside of an ambulance in today's world to get a second patient in a rig, since there is so much storage and equipment in them. -d
  10. I can't get mine to load up with the mod at all. I've read through this and tried various things. I'll post my code and tell me if its correct, if you could please. "D:\911 - First Responders\Em4.exe" -game -mod "Los Angeles Mod v1.7" -d
  11. In my experience around the Southern California area, the ambulances only transport one victim on a stretcher and sometimes one more that is able to sit up on the bench seat in the back. I haven't seen many ambulances that have the room for two victims on stretchers and still have room for the EMT's to move around and provide care. Image from WikiPedia -d
  12. Someone gives that Cosres guy a warning... Dude is beyond annoying and can't read. -d
  13. If you talk to the people around the scene, they will tell you exactly where the child is at. Spoiler:
  14. Those guys are detectives and sit at a desk all day... they aren't in shape like the patrol guys, so they move around a little slower
  15. You should try SnagIt for the video capture if you cant get Fraps to work. I've used it a bunch and it works great. -d
  16. If he had done some research, he would know that. And yes, people in LA would know if there were "EMS bikes". I get that people want to see new things in the mod since it is so great and people enjoy playing it. However, people need to do some research on their suggestions before just tossing them into the ring. I apologize for using moron, but I too am getting frustrated with people suggesting things that are not practical to the mod. -d
  17. Well only a moron would suggest things were it has been said 100x times will not be in the Mod. If it doesn't exist in LA, it won't be put in. Like Hoppah has stated, people keep making suggestions that don't make any sense for this mod. -d
  18. The Dolphins are used around LA, they have 3 of them stationed at LAX. The Jayhawks are used by the USCG, but the only ones that I know of close to LA are in San Diego at their base down there, in which they have 2 of them. They use them for coastal rescues. But I have never seen one do a in-land rescue at all. -d
  19. THEY DON'T EXIST IN LA MORON! GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD!!! -d
  20. Everyone done begging yet? Its getting quite pathetic. -d
  21. There are people in that mission that can not be picked up by boat, the only way to save them is by the USCG chopper. In previous versions of the mod, it worked fine, but not with this one. There is another mission in which the heli doesn't work too, so it prevents you from completing those missions with the highest possible scores. -d
  22. Been noted by me a few weeks ago... -d
  23. There is a cover on the mirror that is wrinkled.. it isn't the actual mirror. If you look, the opposite one is chromed. -d
  24. The CHP to my knowledge doesn't have Harley's in their motorcycle inventory at all. They used them many, many years ago though. -d Exactly! -d
  25. No, the CSP was absorbed into the CHP. Their officers were for the most part kept at their posts, just put into different uniforms and given more training. -d
