  1. Sorry, new house and all, been a while since I have logged in on here. If you are having troubles disconnecting the hose from the fire truck, i have found removing a FF's SCBA and then getting him to remove the supply hose works
  2. Here's a video made by CFD138, and a few other member of Squad 55. He found a song about about station 2, and a "scue" which is (from my understanding) short for "rescue", so he decided to make a video and show off HC 4.5.2 a little bit
  3. Again, it was designed for Squad 55 mulitplayer, not singleplayer. Converted it to single player for people who wanted to play solo
  4. You would need to edit several scripts, make VO's and do may different things to get them to work properly. If you have editing knowledge you may be able to script them in. Not sure about the FF/EMT thing, i don't know what script that would be
  5. sometimes you need to tell your guy working the pump, to move away from the pump and then start the pump again. And the unit layout was determined by Squad 55 staff for multiplayer games. Having 2 hazmats during large hazmat scenes is very useful. Plus 7 medics is a bit excessive
  6. Yea, the boat collision is a bit bugged sometimes. It's really hard to try to fix because there are over 150 different accidents in the city, so getting to test the right call is very rare. As far as future releases, this is going to be the last major release of Harbor City.
  7. Once someone in the game crashes, changing a FF or EMT to a different person (FF to FF w/SCBA) will cause them to become the hosts units.
  8. The patrol function will work, but it will interfere with other units responding to calls which is why it was removed. Glad everyone is enjoying the mod. It means a lot when other enjoy things us modders have worked on for a long time!

  11. Apparently I am unable to upload the mod to emergency planet. As soon as I try to upload it times out, or says the connection has been reset....
  12. 4.5.2 is going to have a lot of changes from 4.3. The biggest being the water supply script. There haven't been an issues found that need to be fixed. I'll be uploading the mod in the next day or so, then it will just need to be approved.
  13. The issue I am having, and I believe the one that Thomas is having as well, is not having the files in the correct location. Either you need to tell the editor where to find the files on your hard drive, or you need to put them in the right place. As far as I can tell... C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Emergency 5\data\em5 is the equivalent of the base game in emergency 4. QSF has something to do with the editor and is either the editor itself or is the "mod" that is loaded by default. So I think that if you want to make a new mod this will appear in the Emergency 5\data folder under what ever name you specify. Also I believe that the "create new project" button is not working, first of all it says "TODO" beside it, and it just doesn't do anything aside from give you an error. Also I don't know how to change between mods in the editor. I think we will be waiting for the team at sixteen tons to update the editor to get all the functions working before we can do any actual modding.
  14. In the "importing mesh" tutorial tutorial, they use the drag and drop method for .mesh files. I can't use the drag and drop for .mesh or . obj files. Don't know what the deal is - I even made sure they were in a git repository.
  15. Glad to hear it! I know it's been said before but 4.5.2 should be out soon. Due to largely to unexpected family events over the entirety of the holidays, and a few more bugs than I planned on fixing, the mod was delayed. It is currently being put through it's paces using Squad 55 as a guinea pig. I don't anticipate any issues, but after about 1 week of testing it shall be available! Then I can finally get Blackrock Cliffs going!
  16. That means that the host has not done these steps. You only need to do this if you are hosting, and they have not.

  18. Just an update: having a glitch with the LA siren script, causing the game to crash on a quite regular basis. Trying to get it solved. After that is fixed then I will get this mod uploaded!
  19. Yea. Kinda strange having a modding tool, but you can't make a mod to do modding in.... Hopefully this gets fixed in this patch that is coming out soon.
  20. Lol right. Even before that how do you create a mod or a project so that when you do find out how to import a model .. how do you get it to others!!!???
  21. I emailed my vehicle model to my friend who has 3ds max in 3ds format. He's going to see if he can import it and change it to .mesh. Hopefully that will work.
  22. I was literally JUST about to post this question! I have tried everything I can think of to try to get that error to go away. But after about 2 hours of attempting things and failing I don't know what to do. I have googled everything I can think of and cannot find that error anywhere. I would also appropriate an answer to this question!
  23. Bug reports: On the Berlin map, in the east area where all the bridges are.. my units cannot navigate around the bridges. They know there is a road above or below them, so they ignore and collision meshes and drive off the bridge and land on the ground, or if below they will drive up the ledge, through the floor of the bridge as if it didn't exist. This occured on several occasions with several vehicles. Have also had many instances with vehicles getting stuck, they can drive in but they can't get out Also had many patients not appear to another player in a multiplayer game, I , the host was the only one who could see them Aaand vehicle collision calls don't appear on the minimap, fires and patients do, but the car crashes do not
  24. In order to host a game you need to forward your ports! TCP: 42007 UDP 55166 To do this (windows 7) 1) control panel 2) administrative tools 3) windows firewall with advanced security 4) Inbound rules 5) New rule (on the right hand side) 6) make a rule that allows TCP 42007 through (i did public, private and domain) 7) make a rule that allows UDP 55166 through (again, public, private and domain) 8) if you are using a router (which most likely are) you will have to get access to it using an IP address, usually something like 192.168.0.1. and you'll again have to allow the same TCP and UDP number through your router. After that you should be able to host! Hopefully this helps!
