  1. You need a model with animations, import that into the editor as a person and compile everything there, then in the units folder create an entry for the new e4p that you made, make sure it is available for mission 22 (Freeplay). Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  2. Let me know if you want any help, I made some Arizona themed skins for GTA4 back in the day. Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  3. Hmm, now here's an interesting idea! Do you have a concept drawing you could post, as far as what this strip would look like? Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  4. Agreed, the Winterberg CAD/FMS system is about the only thing even close to what you are talking about, and if you dig into their code you'll find why nobody is doing it. Unless you have a Bachelors of Science in C++ I would likely stick to using a Google doc. Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  5. I second what itchboy said, I would LOVE to have an American version of Beiberfield and/or Winterberg, but when it comes to actually patching things together you can end up with some unusual results! I'm not familiar with the London mod, what functionality do the traffic cones have? Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  6. Either way just be sure to credit any and every screen shot to the original mod creators, the admins can help you figure out who that would be if you need. Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  7. If I am not mistaken as long as you credit it the creator of Mayberry had stated he didn't care, though the community on this site can be hostile towards reskins sometimes :-\ Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  8. The mod installer only works with mods that are distributed as a .e4mod file, if it isn't packaged ok no the .e4mod format the installer won't work. Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  9. There used to be a tutorial on this site, maybe a moderator can link it? Anyways, you basically copy all attributed files for the vehicle from the models, prototypes and units folder over, then you have to edit the infotexts file, Freeplay base, and a few other xmls (on my phone so I don't remember exactly which ones...) and voila. Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  10. Elaborate on what you are try to do, add vehicles from another mod, make your own, clone vehicles from the same mod... Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  11. If you do a custom map I would suggest bounding it between FM-1463 and HWY-99 for east and west then Kingsland Blvd and Morton Rd (or even make Franz your last major east-west) for north and south, then just generalize the features. That way you get the fire station, police station and Memorial Hermann Katy plus the highways, a touch of commercial and a touch of residential.
  12. So no ambulances in the fire station? Curious as to their parking... it would be interesting to see street corner posting instead of parking in quarters. Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  13. Out of curiosity, if you place the vehicles on the map so that they are there when the game starts are they able to move?
  14. Essentially its the physics bounding box that the game sees, not the model itself is what you are saying, correct? Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  15. If you place a truck in the editor does it fit within the bounds of the VO, also, attach a copy or pm me a copy of your to_station script and I'll look at it. Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk Also, do the garage doors function? Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  16. Awesome stuff, looks like your about ready to turn the Copenhagen airport mod into a Miami-Dade mod! Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  17. Are you trying to use the expanded map with vanilla or a mod? Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  18. Let me know if you need help, I'm very interested Sent from my E6830 using Tapatalk
  19. Crashing between Freeplay is a 'normal' issue I believe... As for the black screen on the laptop is it just with the mod or in general? Could be a myriad of reasons from tech to a corrupted file. I would start by reinstalling the mod and then try running as an administrator and post the results. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  20. I have attached the events.xml that goes in the "YourMod/Lang/En/" directory, it has been modified to show the incidents with their corresponding Priority Dispatch Codes. Feel free to use this in your own mods, not credit needed as I just changed a few lines of text, a poorly trained monkey could do this. Some examples of what will scroll across the top of your screen when a call drops: EMS INCIDENT | 10-DELTA-1 | CHEST PAIN EMS INCIDENT | 17-BRAVO-2 | FALL WITH SERIOUS HEMORRHAGE FIRE/EMS INCIDENT |29-DELTA-4F | MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH MULTIPLE ENTRAPMENTS FIRE INCIDENT | 69-DELTA-1 | STRUCTURE FIRE FIRE INCIDENT | 68-ALPHA-1 | SMOKE INVESTIGATION POLICE INCIDENT | 108-DELTA-1 | BOMB FOUND POLICE INCIDENT |135-ECHO-1 | SHOTS FIRED IMMEDIATE LIFE THREAT Side Note: I have also uploaded my tones-to-replace-supervisor pack which can be found here, for those who may be interested in it: Download for the Priority Dispatch Codes: events.xml events.xml
  21. Version 1.0.0

    1,398 downloads

Tired of hearing the supervisor tell you that a call has dropped? Do you prefer just hearing some quick tones? Then this is the mod for you, this file replaces the dispatcher with simple tones: low-high tones for fire, high-low tones for EMS and a 4-beep tone for police calls. After creating a back up, simple copy these files over the ones located in "Data/Lang/us ~or~ en/supervisor" and that's it, annoying supervisor is gone! Check out my youtube video if you want to hear an example:
  22. Pretty sure that there is a tool to unpack files in the downloads directory, there used to be... Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk Maybe the 4x4 submission, if my memory serves me, but it's fairly modified... Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  23. Have you unlocked the files? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  24. Did you write the script that you are trying to use? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk If I remember correctly you have to make the desk a 'vehicle' Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
