Just a suggestion for the upcoming version could you make the Captain have the commands as regular firefighters.

Kind of on a standstill in the modelling department. Were waiting for some files so that we can add lights. The map is doing good, our mapper and scripter are working on that some more.

Were just waiting on E1, and the PD Units so once those are finished more work will resume.

I can imagine a Manhattan map, with 2 or max. 3 fire houses, and everything else is off map...

these are still not much apparatus on the map comparing to other mods...

They said that there will be more than 1 map and most units will be on the map

No i think its going to include only one station, but the other cars are going to be callable ofc

You could make it so that its only one Battalion on the Map and the others are from off the map. Since theres only a couple trucks in each station this would be more realistic. Also is the map going to be a modified of the original or a completely new one. My mod is having a new map. Do you have anyone doing scripts or will there not be any new ones?

When you use the auto installer uncheck where it says Install New Freeplay Map

When is the full mod ready to play? I'm playing the submod and i want to know when the full mod is ready.

"Brought the files"? You mean you copied the game folder from his hard drive to yours without running the installer? And now you wonder why it doesn't work?

When you install a program through the game installer, it doesn't just copy the files to your hard drive. It adds many entries to the Windows registry in order for the game to work properly. If you just copy the files, it usually just won't work. You'll get error messages, CTDs, or both. That's why you need to use the installer.

Besides, paying your friend doesn't make it legal at all. Instead you just paid for an illegal copy (see it as buying stolen goods instead of obtaining them for free - it's still a crime in the eyes of the law). The only legal way to buy software from other people is buying the physical game disk from that person (and then that person can't use the game anymore because you've got the disk now). Otherwise, one of you is automatically using an illegal copy. If that person has a digital copy of the game, there is no way you can legally "buy" the files from them. I'd try getting that £20 back if I were you.

So I'm sorry, but we won't be able to help you. You have to either purchase the game disk, or purchase the game online through digital download, and perform a standard installation.

I can run my version without the disk in the computer. So I dont know what you mean? Maybe its just your computer

What would be neat is when you drive off the map to another map. And a different map @ each side of the map. It probably can be done. Than you can have more stations and more equipment.

I have an issue I responded the Swift Water Rescue to a person drowning and the people got out of the car but they couldnt get in the water and the guy died.

I just finished playing ERS Berlin Mod and was wondering if the NY Mod GUI is going to be similar with the way to dispatch and the regular commands?

Just saw the manual, very cool. It seems as if you'll be able to equip your men with all different kinds of hoses. BTW, if a truck blows up, did you say that you need a spare rig? Are those pre-assigned or do you need to assign them as spares?
