Alright guys it will be delayed a few weeks then, and the work on the separate mod will begin shortly after release and the submod wil remain to be patched as the mod will take quite a while edit: I hope so! it's my first mod so I can't believe what its become

Hmm all good points, well heres what I intend, LAcity....(greg) I am going to use all of your models in this submod (as they are based off the LA units still) and we will take this up to v2.9/3 keeping it going, Then in the meanwhile I intend to use some of b2bombers models will be combined with some other models in the work to start our own stand alone NY mod, opinions on a name? I appreciate we will be in direct competition with the NY mod, but I think we've come so far as a team so we deserve to be. Don't worry greg I still need your help with the full mod too . The whole FDNY is starting to take place now, I have completed the beta testing with few bugs, enough to release anyway, so here's the question... Wait for a classy FDNY ? But delay release by about a week anda half. Or release ASAP regardless of the new engines (which would mean the engines would be patched in about a month or two ) This is a community project so it's your call guys I'll poll it I'm glad me and greg have settled our dispute and are now back on to work.

Dude, you had edited the LA trucks, so technically it's not 'yours'. But anyway, I asked for modelers, mainly to assist with your engine, your jumping to conclusions, I'd spent about a week trying to walk through with griffy issues with the models polys etc which was causing issues, literally about 2 weeks had been spent working on that because I was so impressed with the model, I even PMd you saying I loved it and was so sad I was having issues. But yeah screw you man.... Sorry for anything innapropriate moderators, I've never had a warning so I dunno if I've overstepped any lines, but seriously man this is your bad. Back on topic, we have been thinking about pushing towards a seperate mod (why b2bomber and reece.c have been showcasing models) as I wanted to know if we had the ability to create models from scratch, and yes we appear to do. So hopefully a second version will be released after 2.1 which will be standalone... Sorry for the essay of an update hope your all still interested. Dyson x

The team as a whole is putting all its work into makingthe FDNY look better. I haven't had time for any more promos, but I'll get some more up soon

haha thanks and I'm sure it will be, I just hate having to settle for the LA engines. I have got a few people interested in modeling now so hopefully between them all I can get a few good models

yeah just really annoying, I'm trying to learn to model, but I'm not paying £60 so cracked versions often crash

Well there's been quite a decline in interest and motivation, it just seems I've reached as far as I can push the submod atm, all that it needs now is models, but got a real shortage so theres nothing more I could do until that obstacle is averted. And shadowzuiz well have a go at a high quality seagrave. That's all I'm urgently lacking.

Need some modelers pretty urgently got a few but still nomodels made I will release v2.1 later in this week/early next and then unless I get some modelers to help expand the submod will be temporarily/permanantly closed.

Or 7zip which doesn't ever require a licence a.rar is just like a zip folder but can compress the files smaller hope this helps

Thats why i said 343? I assumed it would be. I think 9/11 was a disaster, there will be no mission, but jeez guys every time someone even mentions 9/11 and you all go ape shit. Even when they said why not honour them. So no more is to be said about 9/11 on this topic.
