Second update of the day! I've been working hard on the 3 remaining units of the Fire Department,
First of all heres the Hazmat squad. I'll have to find some lights I like but after that we should be ready to roll.
And heres all the other fire units. Two engines and the rescue. When I finish up with the HAZMAT, All I have to do is put the ladder truck and battalion cars ingame, and V1 should be set for release

Heres an Update for everyone showcasing the ambulances that will be featured in the mod.
Lights will get a rework for v2, these are temporary. I did these lights a while back so don't expect to be "wow'd" by their quality.

Hey y'all, another update on Edgewater PD. Here's our currently completed units. Sooner or later I'll record a video with each of them to show off their lights but for now, enjoy a screenshot.

Progress on the edgewater police department. Slowly and surely I'm learning my way around polygon lights, but for now let's enjot some good old fashioned rotators.

I've been working on getting everything ported over right but theres still some work to do.
I've been working on a HAZMAT truck replacement. I plan to recreate something like this It will probably use the same rear as the rescue because I'm lazy.

I'm going to upload a first version when I get all these units set up and ready. Afterwards I'll start working on a version with some better lighting and some station switches. Here are a few screenshots from the private version. Not everything pictured will make it into Version 1!

Hey all
I was recently trying my hand at polygonal lights and have met some odd problems. First of all, when I click, the polygon doesn't get corners. Sometimes I have to click twice, or right click, but no matter what I doesn't work. Second, when I click and drag the polygon doesn't move. And finally, they're just not showing up as lights in game or in the editor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I felt like it was high time Edgewater got a proper police department so heres Edgewater PDs 91 Caprice (courtesy of itchboy). If you're a fan of Colgate toothpaste, i've got good news.
If anyone knows the credits for that Whelen 9000 lightbar please let me know so I can credit them accordingly.

Since the city in Hill Street Blues is never named, I took matters into my own hands. After consulting a few random name generators I came to the conclusion that this mod will take place in the fictional city of Malburn. Heres our rescue. Cab by RD_Saarland & Rachammer. Rear by the Edgewater mod team.

Anyway I have posted more fixes, but the big fish to fry is parking script. Still working on that and some polishing of existing concepts.
If the MP expansion goes well, then I'll go back to Miami and implement the fixes there.
Afterward, when all of that is done, maybe then I can finish Montana mod.
If you must know the story, I threw darts at a map to pick this name- but to answer your question, Yes, I am CanadianFrog
The main problem I've encountered is with the spawners, the vehicles will be yours but the personal will belong to the host. -

If I may suggest a solution for the lifeguard issue, maybe have something like the SCBA on/off script that can switch the prototypes whenever you want the lifeguard to enter water. Maybe picking up the rescue can or something.

Apologies for getting back to you all so late, EMP didn't feel the need to alert me for some reason.
I've backed up the mod and I've undone a few of the edits, looks to me like the problem came from an engine. I'm back working on it and taking it slow, yet to have a crash yet so, thats a good thing. -
