Maya Unlimited costs bet. $5000-$6000 and SketchUp is like $500.besides that dont diss Maya, its the best in the world. it may not be as good for modeling as lets say 3DSMax, but theyre both from Autodesk and 3DS was made specifically for modeling while Maya is more focused on animation/texturing, etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Newfoundking Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 haha I don't have the money, however my buddy works with a 3D modelling company, and well they do more than that, but he does all the 3D modelling and that is one of the pieces of software he uses, and it's on his laptop(well theirs, but it's his work one) so I do use it occasionally, just I don't like it as much as th others for modelling.
