vista crash

Recommended Posts

I sucessfully installed 911: first responders on my vista machine. When the game start, there is a white border around part of the screen, then the screen gets fuzzy, and the pc crashes to the desktop. I suspect it is a codec issue, but i don't think i have any of the offending files. I've tried just about everything else suggested here and elsewhere. I am dumbfounded. Attached are the DxDiag and the Logfile.txt.

I'm thinking it may be your video card isn't up to date... update it and see if you still get that problem.. I'm gonna check your files now

Log fiel says it can;t find freeplayrankings.xml... hmmm

Line 1560:

?VVideoTexture::InitTextureRenderer(): could not find output pin [80040216]
