Try updating the video drivers...are you sure there is no logfile? Mine used to crash before the start movie and there was a logfile. Its in the C:\Program Files\WizardWorks\911 First Responders folder, and the file is logfile.txt

You could try the omega drivers

http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php

When I had a laptop with and ATI card E4 and 911 ran better with the omega drivers then they did with ATI drivers.

From the readme:

911: FIRST RESPONDERS supports the following types of graphic cards:

- GeForce 3

- GeForce 4200, 4400, 4600, 4800

- GeForce 5xxx and all higher versions

- ATI 9500, 9600, 9700, 9800

- ATI X700 and all higher versions

Your Radeon X300 is the reason why 911FR won't run.

Omg how stupid am I  !!!!

Anyway, your gfx card is antic. It says you need x700+. So x300 simply wont work..

I suggest you buy a new gfx card  ..

nope?

no for replace on laptop or doing this by myself :) ?

I have never even seen a laptop grahics card for sell.

As for the second the very fact that you ask the question means you would not be able to if you could even find such a card.

First uninstall all codecs packs:

- K Lite, Samsung PC studio, Nokia PC software and other mobile software shit comming with codecs. Do you have any magixx software uninstalled?

After removing all codec packs, reboot and try the game if this doesnt work perform this:

Can you play the game videos in mediaplayer?

Found on internet fort his problem:

Download both tools:

http://www.updatexp.com/sherlock-codec-detective.html

&

http://members.chello.nl/~p.bekke/

First control your system with Sherlock, you will then see what codes are running and what codec’s are ok.

Then run VCswat disable unknown or third party codec’s. If Sherlock still finds unknown or third party codec’s, follow the path of the codec file (where the .ax files are located) and rename those in .old until Sherlock shows 100% known codes.

Then run RegCleaner and clean the Codec’s registry with the Codes swapper if you want to reactivate the codec’s one by one.

NOTE: Emergency-planbet.com and it’s users take no responsibility in damage that could result on wrongly performing those action!!
