What do you need to do to load freeplay on a brand new map?

Recommended Posts

Just a map texture? You have to import it into a map in the editor, and then save that map as freeplay.e4m or alternatively, freeplay_d.e4m overwriting the original. Thing is, this is just a floor. you'd have to load the original map you want to replace to replace the floor (f3) but the placement of the buildings and what not on themap will have to be the same.

Is this a new map altogether, or is it meant to just be a floor replacement for a current map already populated? If it's just a new floor altogether, and not a texture replacement (like snow, or whatever) then you'll need to do a LOT of work to have this as a functioning map.

I have imported it and saved it as freeplay and that stuff! I have placed virtiual objects and buildings, paths, streets, spawn points and captured a picture where you spawn. Is there anything more i need to add?
