Update 1.2.2 - Performace

Recommended Posts

Yes I realize I didn't spell performance correctly in the title, no clue if I can/how to edit it.

From http://em5.world-of-emergency.com/news/2014-12-15/28-emergency_5_now_faster_more_stable_and_with_better_performance

Update 1.2.2 available
EMERGENCY 5 becomes better and faster with the update 1.2.2. The main focus is performance. Also many other defects and problems have been eliminated, which were reported by players. Many thanks for this precious support to all, who have reported their problems to us, who send us their critical feedback, who helped us with hints in our defect location or those who complimented us, because they simply enjoy playing EMERGENCY 5! The most important improvements are listed in the patch log.

Note: The game will detect and install the update by itself. It will notify you where required.

I've played for about 2 hours post patch and here's the conclusion i have come to

Improvements I've noticed

-I went from a 20 FPS average to about 35

-In non city areas i average 60 frames

-Now much more playable

Needs to still be fixed

-When calling in new vehicles there is a short game freeze

-When scrolling through cities the game micro stutters and frames drop.

-during fires and car accidents frames drop

-All around Micro stuttering

-Vehicle movement much more drastic than in EM4(example, vehicles snapping to different angles instead of pivoting like in EM4)

Fixing bugs isn't that easy as you might think it is. They are currently fixing the bugs, but it takes some time.

Yes well had they brother to do any quality control on game before release it would not take as long to fix, because then there would not have been as many bugs.
