Saving Freeplay Parameters

Recommended Posts

Guest SGGSeguin

Hi All,

Im not big in the area of changing files within games, however am looking for help to make the gameplay more enjoyable. I located the files under the specs folder in an attempt to change the settings to lower certain occurances under freeplayparameters (re fire, explosions). I open the file up with notepad, and also with wordpad than changed the setting, however was unable to save the changes I had made. This message opens " Cannot create the C:/Program Files (x86)/Strategy First/Emergency 3/Data/Specs/freeplayparameters.xml file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct."

Should I be opening the file up with a certain program? or do something different?

Please Help

Cheers,
