my map switcher wont work it says press 1 and i press it and when i play i click on mods and la mod v2.1 and it takes me to the same mod. can anyone help me?

i have a problem with 911 first responders. when ever i try to join in on multiplayer it says sever and client have different files or something like that. if you could help me out i would really appreciate it.
