Life. Thats the best I can tell you until he says something.

Thank you. I'm sure I speak for more than one person when I say that I was concerned because I heard something happened and then he stopped posting for three months. As far as I'm concerned any creator's first priority should be themselves and their health and not making more content.

  2. Good looking mod so far, my only problem I had with it was the apparent fragility of the fire apparatus. Now obviously this can be avoided by parking fire engines a distance away from the burning buildings, but when I tried the second mission and had to park my ladder truck at the house to get the person out the tree across from the house caught fire and the ladder truck exploded. In the Demonstration mission when I tried to use the rescue boat to pick up people in the water and the barrels from the ship they kept blowing up and sinking no matter how far they were from the burning cargo ship.

  3. Hello, I am a long time player and I just got a new computer and redownloaded the game and have to start my mods list over from scratch. I want to play a New York mod version that I had on my old computer that had a drive thru restaurant and some other things. I'm fairly sure it was one version of these: https://www.moddb.com/mods/manhattan-modification but I don't recall which one it was or which of the three Manhattan versions and one Brooklyn version available had the best functionality (doesn't crash, minimal graphics and traffic bugs etc.). Can you folks help me out?

Either me or Ibarra has to make them from scratch. We hand draw the lines, windows etc.

Send over your model. Even if we already have a Tahoe, I could still use another one for fun or we can include it into another mod like Montana.

I do have a concern to share with everyone: Should the update be released without helicopters and civilian cars? I feel like this next update can stand on it's own without needing the extra content, but I also don't want to not deliver on my promises.

There's still plenty of cars to be done. Here's another one.

And another one sitting unfinished at the moment:

You are the author, so you should do whatever you feel comfortable with. That being said, I wouldn't mind starting my summer break playing the 80s version of the mod.

    still wip?

Yes. I believe there is a copy of the old version's download file floating around someplace but for now the second version is still in development. I'm unsure of itchboy's schedule, maybe after he finishes the update for Project Nostalgia.

Thank you for these photos, they're very helpful.

By any chance do you know what LASD ran between 1974-1978? Specifically what they had before the Novas? Seems that nobody has found info on that yet.

I know at least that they used the Plymouth Satellite and AMC Matador in 1973 because they had both models in Gone in 60 Seconds which was from 1974. Since the Matador and Satellite both had '74 production models and the Matador ran until 1978 it's reasonable to infer they used those two cars during these years.

Talking about the lightbars, is comon in the US red lightbars? I remember the Metro Police and not much more. White and yellow for the NYPD maybe back in the days?

Red is the most common color outside of the south. In California all police cars have to have a steady burning front red light and a flashing amber light in back. That's why two of the CHP cars have so few lights compared to the others because CHP cars back in the day just had the basic requirement for emergency lighting. It's also why the cop cars in Adam-12 had steady burners instead of flashers. Emergency vehicle lighting requirements vary from state to state.
