  1. Back in the days I was making Coastal rescue mod, I had made British infantry and also a WMIK Land Rover in desert for a mod along the same idea as this, very cool, glad someone has done something similar to my idea! Awesome!

  2. so we can edit it with credits towards doesedmonkey......?

Basically yes, use any part for another modification, or colaberate with others to continue this mod, its basically open source now, as I do not have a lot of spare time on my hands. Although I do check back here occasionally.... ;)

  3. I did have the sirens working at one point, maybe its in the other version on my home computer, or an older version. Sirens are actually quite easy to put in to a mod, its collecting good samples is the hard part. If you look in the scripts section there will be one there I made with the name sirens.

  4. Sorry for not updating for a long time guys. In the last four months of 2011 I spent a lot of time making a new freeplay map, and sadly my hardware went corrupt and I didn't have any of the map stuff backed up any where else on board the vessel. So been quite aggrivated and not bothered to carry on, as have also had a lot of other real life commitments.

I have put what I made up to 2010 on Downloads page, as this was on my laptop tonight. Currently in South America. If I remember when back in the UK next, will upload the mid-2011 version from my desktop.

Feel free to use content from the mod for your own, or carry on this mod yourselfs. I'm carrying on with real life business projects currently, in fact I'm on here just avoiding doing some graphics work for a shoe store myself and my fiance (<-new) are starting here in South America. :P;)

Okay some administrative, but exciting news here!

I've teamed the mod up with my old crew, the famous Sir. Community, renouned for making mods and videos for Battlefield 2 the game primarily.

So please sign upto our website, and use our teamspeak where we can discuss ideas, and stimulate the progression of the mod. I feel the access to more resources, in the form of modders and also in the form of servers/communications/sponsors this should help the mod be completed for its first release.

We still need a mapper quite desperetly, as it is a time consuming task to do on my own, i'd much prefere to assist someone else who knows how to make a map in EM4.

  6. If it is the case that you cannot do mods on 2012 i hope that this mod and many others go ahead as planed on emergency 4 as i prefer the mods to the normal game

I have been looking at what i have achieved in EM4 so far and well, I have done too much coding and work already to transfer it all, so will be completing the mod in EM4.

PS. My copy of EM2012 is still in the post somewhere, damn seasonal holiday hehe.

  7. Okay to answer some questions.

I'm in the navy as I have stated before, I have been away for 5 months, get back to the UK on the 29th December.

If it is possible, there is a mod development kit with it, I will contemplate moving the mod to EM2012, I think most of the models and skins are high enough quality, although it is questionable wether I can transfer the code work, which would be a shame, if there is a new SDK on EM2012, it is possible I could release versions on both platform, and see which would be best to advance from.

Althought I have been busy away, before I went away I had added a lot of code and features that I have not advertised on here, such as for example, having paramedics as individual people who go fetch a stretcher from the ambulance when required, like in reality.

Does anyone know when EM2012 is released in the UK and if the SDK is coming with it??

Hope that explains things. Thankyou for your support as ever guys! :)

  8. Nice skin. To be honest, not going to be doing too much skinning for a while, until after thsi versions release, currently just mostly coding and then also some mapping. Thankyou and will keep you in mind though.

Sorry JPH, will upload the mod mate, i just got hijacked by the navy to do a few weeks i nthe english channel, back for one week before Falklands, will do as much as I can and then allow JPH to continue with the mod if he wishes whilst I am away.

  9. mate i watch that tv programme about HMS Endurance called ice patrol are you really on it?

I was on a different vessel. Nice pic I got sent from my counter part a week after I left it,

    - If you could do that for me mate, that'd be amazing. no problems as far as coding goes. I liturally just haven't had time to do a lot of the stuff, any help I recieve I am very greatful for! Thankyou.

Everyone else - Anyway, as far as the mod goes, I have made significant debugs in the code, leaped some good boundries, only a few bits more to fix, do some polishing off, and as I do not have time to create the custom freeplay map yet, I will be releasing it hopefully very soon, with original maps. Hopefully this will spur someone else on to add bits to the mod, or make a map whilst I'm away, then I can put all the bits together and debug and polish it again, kind of like a open source project.

  10. Ok good news guys! I'm alive still! :tongue2:

Where have I been? I have been on a vessel patrolling the seas around the Falklands/South Georgia/Antarctica for quite some months now. The mod isn't dead, but I haven't had any time to progress from where I last was, glad there is still interest and glad JPH is interested in keeping the mod going, that means a lot, thankyou.

I do need a dedicated map maker still, idealy!
