  1. Yesterday I downloaded the Montana Mod v2.0.1 & I went to copy the optional em4.cfg & I Thought I clicked on make copy so there would be 2 em4.cfg files but I didn’t & I deleted the original em4.cfg therefore somehow I lost all of dispatch audio & any audio like “roger!” or “on it!” of all of my mods.

I'm not sure what to do to fix this, like a complete reinstall or what?

    Thanks,

  2. I'm just wondering if the Monitor/Deck Gun has been fixed the Satellite, because I know on some other FDNY Mods, it doesn't pivot as it should. for example when the monitor swung around like 45 degree to the centerline of the truck & the base of the Monitor jumps from where it should be to closer to the Cab.

    Thanks,

  3. First of all I really enjoyed this mod; however I just have a few questions regarding gameplay…

    1. How do you save a game while playing freeplay? I tried F5 & nothing happens.

    2. I’m just wondering in Gameplay wise what does Utility 1 do?

    3. How do you get Apparatus Bay Door Openers on the Wall of Station #1, sometimes I can only get 1 to 4 doors to open & then they stop working for me?

    Thanks,

  4. MikeyPI,

The Satellites were designed as part of the Super Pumper System (as it was billed a fireboat on land) back when it was first built in the 1960s. Back when FDNY had large fires (large warehouses, etc. ) regularly & they need put lot of water on the fire & the original 3 satellites were designed to be portable monitor (4000 gpm) & Hose Tenders. the Super Pumper is one of the coolest Fire Apparatus ever built.

  5. I have a couple questions regarding the pictures on page 2...

    1. On the first picture (top row far left) that is a NYPD flatbed with steps and yellow cargo with a black tarp, I must wondering what this truck was used for.
    2. In the third picture (second picture from the right on the top right) The Satellite (the truck behind the NYFD Step Van) I'm just wondering if the Satellite will be fully functional?

    thanks,

  6. so far I just have used it on 1 of the Major Event Mission so far, the one with 2 World Leaders in Berlin, I think you have to use it on the Major Event Mission that it was design to show you how to use it first. At least that is the way Emergency 5 Missions have been going for me.

  7. use the SWAT Drone is pretty easy (it's like using the Search & Rescue Dog), all you have to do is..

    1) Pick where you want the SWAT Drone Carrier to go.

    2) Click on the Up Arrow Icon on the SWAT Drone Carrier to launch the SWAT Drone.  (it will find the "bad guy" like the Search & Rescue Dog finds the lost person)

3a) Click on the Down Arrow Icon on the SWAT Drone Carrier to recover the SWAT Drone.

3b) you can't move the SWAT Drone if it's in the air.

  8. Just a reminder The Show just replaced Rescue 3 late last season (Season 2) with their owned Squad from an local Illinois FD & the Overturned Truck is just a cab & chassis, that was purchased from a Fire Apparatus Dealer from Alabama.  The Overturned Truck was an Engine/Pumper but the Show had the Pumper Body removed for the show.

  9. This last week has been full of surprises relating to Chicago Fire! First the Season 3 Episode 1, I'll just say I didn't see what happened coming & today Rafaell surprised us with cool new model of 6-8-7 the scuba unit.

    :D

  10. Xxnypdofficerxx,

I think the reason for the 2 Squads is in the TV Show they had 2 different Squads in the 2 different TV seasons (If I remember correctly the right Squad was in Season 1 & the Left Squad is in Current Season ). I think Rafaell made both Squads so we can use our Favorite Squad & the Left Squad is closest in looks to the Squads that CFD uses for their Snorkel Squads which I believe Rafaell is or thought about doing as well.

  11. Implementing Limited Water Supply in Chicago Fire Mod...

    Rafeal,

With the Limited Water Supply Implemented, I have a few questions

    1) Will we be able to run a supply line from the hydrant/water tender/tanker (yes, as I know of CFD doesn't use Water Tenders) or will we be just limited to water on board (water from the Tank on the Engines)? (because Chicago still does have Large Multiple Alarm Fires.)

    2) If we're limited to the water in the tank, will they be automatically refilled at the station?

    Just wondering... thanks,

  12. Oh Well! you win some & lose some, maybe you can add it later on as an add-on pack. The Water Tender looks good in  the pictures. If I may ask you a quick question do you think it is possible to do a unit like Deluge 103. (I'm not requesting it but wether just curious if a model could be done.)
