The command creates an invisible officer behind the car who starts redirecting traffic. When you move the car without deactivating that command the invisible officer stays behind and keeps redirecting traffic and worse, blocks other units. So I suggest you do not even try to alter the script before you also start complaining that it does not work. Like other people, I also do not see a reason to redirect the traffic while the car is moving (?). All emergency vehicles already drive faster than civilian cars. Each time an emergency vehicles passes a car, you want that car to get redirected? That will CERTAINLY cause problems with the oncoming traffic on the other lane(s). There is no such thing as a smart AI in this game. vehicles just start blocking each other... Looks like you haven't really thought about this.

Voodoo_Operator reskinned the LAFD Battalion Chief car and added equipment in the back.

That has nothing to do with this topic. Thanks for reminding me though. This trick does not work for v1.9 anymore. = TOPIC CLOSED = More information: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?showtopic=8024

Additional functions in LA mod + fictive army base
Hoppah replied to danny96's topic in Submods [Not released]
The closest US Army base to LA is Fort Irwin. And Edwards Air Force Base is located north of Los Angeles. -

Why did you name the topic 'Real Los Angeles'? -

You added General Hoppah too I see. -
Thanks.

He said he plays 'a map' what does not necessarily mean a map from the LA Mod. That might be a custom made map as well.

Please add some more specific information. I guess you are talking about the LEV you got permission for? And what filetype are we talking about? (.xml, .dds, .v3o, .e4p) And to what filetype do you want to convert that file? And HOW are you trying to convert it? Hoppah

The stand-by command is one of my favorites too. It might not be as useful as other commands, but you can basically set up your own fire stations on other parts of the map. I personally do not really like the patrol function. Everytime I call a (patrolling) PD car, the closest one is always on the other side of the map.

What map is that? The alternative buy function which is being used if any of the 'calling additional vehicles commands' cannot find an available vehicle needs virtual objects on the map. These virtual objects are being used as the spawn points. When the scripts cannot fine them that buy function won't be executed to prevent the game from crashing.

Nice suggestions for a possible Los Angeles Mod v2.0, but I first want to fix every single bug in v1.9 and optimize the new map. I noticed that during testing too and I don't think that can be fixed. Hoppah

The yellow number is your frames per second, you can turn that off in Fraps itself. Try to use the half-size function in the video settings of Fraps, maybe you can record for a longer time then. Fraps records without compression, you are going to need a program like Windows Movie Maker to (edit and) shrink the video. You can also combine your 2 video's Movie Maker.

Yes, increase the intervals by like 10 and repeat that for every vehicle/person spawnpoint.

Already happened in every previous version of the LA mod. Besides making the station bigger, I can't really do much about that. But I don't think it's that annoying.

Just read this topic: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?showtopic=8196 You need to change the exact same thing,

I guessed the mist would only appear at night. Apparently, it doesn't. It makes it more spooky though. The car jam which starts at the beginning (where the yellow pickup truck gets blocked immediatly) will be fixed in patch 2. As well as many other bugs. Check out the first post for more information. I hope to release patch 2 in 1 or 2 days.

You installed a submod?
-
As the installer already mentions the shortcut might not work on 911:FR on Vista 64bit. I even made people test that for me.
-
There only 15 car accidents on the new map. If you play long enough you will get that car accident too.
-
Making sure the destination location is pointed on the folder of the 911:First Responders or Emergency 4 and NOT the Mods folder??
-
That does not happen here, I just tested it. Did you install any submod? Or do you have a screenshot of your problem? Thanks Hoppah

Most of the bugs mentioned in the first post will be fixed in the second patch.
